They need to get Arrested Development already. I know it is May but hurry!
I finally signed up for Netflix streaming. It's so worth the $8 a month.
I plan to start House of Cards soon. Been hearing good things.
Are you watching the American Netflix mik? How are you getting access to it?
alright lads im having serious netflix issues. i keep getting told i need to update sliverlight. i have tried this a zillion times but its not working at all. tried uninstalling chrome ect but i have no idea what the shit is going on. please help me i'm withdrawing.
Wardy gave me a DNS to enter in the Wii menu, but that only worked for a week. It also made the screen slowly turn green when using the component cables. Mental.
I use unblock us for all the other regions. Brazil and Mexico get good movies.
Canada is really strong for movies imo. US Netflix can be a little on the weaker side I find.
This is a useful site

If you guys can excuse the triple post a good tv show if you've not seen it is Rome which is on UK Netflix because its UK rights holder isn't hbo (bbc I believe)
What are you putting it on? A PS3?
On my laptop. Its probably simple, but unfortunately so am I.
I don't know why you'd pay for the unblock. You can get a plugin for firefox that will remove region restrictions. On the pS3 just search for some US dns settings. done.
Its just dodgy, thats all.
just use hola unblocker peter. its free.

6 episodes of a "fly-on-the-wall" documentary that follows the UK company Lovehoney. I was bored tonight, and watched the first episode. I thought it was a good watch.
Don't know if this has been put up before, but it's quite useful when figuring out what to watch;

Trailer Park Boys - Season 8, only on Netflix. First episode available today.
From Dusk Til Dawn the series is on Netflix too. Apart from the guy trying so hard to be George Clooney, it's pretty good.
On Amazon Prime, they've got Dark Knight Returns the animated thingy. It's really good. I like it.
It's one of the best animated movies that DC has ever done.
That sequence with the smoke is amazing! I hope they make a proper film out of it one day.
I've been watching The West Wing on Netflix lately. I saw an episode here and there when it was on Channel 4 or something back in the day, but never really followed it. After loving The Newsroom I put it in my list but only watched the pilot, thought it was kinda meh, and didn't go back for ages. Gave it another shot and I couldn't tell you how many episodes are the most I've watched on the trot, it's just so watchable I'm not even counting at times. I'm in the midst of the third season and it's starting to lose a little steam, probably a combination of the novelty finally wearing off and the writing getting a bit awkward as they try to deal with September 11th sort of happening but not, yet I still love all the characters. That basically never happens, in all these 90s-style ensemble casts there's always one or two I find incredibly annoying or just plain boring. I always hated Worf episodes in TNG, for instance, never found the character particularly interesting compared to the likes of Picard and Data. He got a lot better in DS9, mind. Anyway, I find myself giving a crap about CJ, Toby, Josh et al. And of course I love politics and watching people operate in that world and deal with the frustrations of believing one thing but knowing something else will work is pretty interesting.
We watched "House of Cards" just before the summer and thought it was awesome. Francis Underwood is now one of my favourite characters on TV.
We also got into Suits. At first I found it formulaic and reaching but lately, I believe we’re in the third season now, it’s really rolling. Overall, it’s a bit light at times but mostly fun.
I've been watching Batman Beyond. It came out when I was a senior in high school and at that time I never really gave much attention to animated shows because I'd be at school then work. I really dig this cartoon. Also, I'm really getting into these super old movies like Intolerance and Metropolis, haven't watched Intolerance completely yet (shit is like 4 1/2 hours) but Metropolis was fucking incredible for a movie that came out almost 100 years ago. Apparently it's considered the first science fiction movie.
The old Asterix films, and the Tin Tin cartoons have been added. Excellent nostalgia.
Any word on when New Girl season 3 is supposed to be up for streaming?
I got an email saying it's been made available today.
Thank you sir. Watching it now.
I'm sure it's been posted in here before, but instantwatcher.com updates when Netflix adds new movies and TV shows.

I hope they add a lot of horror during October, because I think I've seen everything under the horror genre on Netflix.
Django Unchained is coming to Netflix at the end of October. Can't wait, it's in my top 10 list of films I haven't seen yet.
That is a great movie.
I tried out an anime I had never seen called Vampire Knight, wasn't that great but I'll give it a few more episodes. And I watched the movie "Bronson" with Tom Hardy. It was awesome, kind of had a Clockwork Orange vibe going.
Clockwork orange vibe from bronson? Please explain.
He's not the first to make that comparison, quite a few reviewers did too.
It wasn't like I watched it and went "Wow this is the exact same plotline, dialogue, etc. as Clockwork Orange" but more the visuals, the self-narration, I honestly couldn't tell you a detailed reason as to WHY. Maybe if I read some reviews that shared the same feelings about the movie I'd have a better grasp on the WHY aside from like I said, the way it looked and the way Bronson narrates the film like Alex did in Clockwork. It shares that grittiness. So maybe MikeHunt you were thinking I was trying to do a detailed comparison of the two in terms of plot, dialogue, but it wasn't that it was more the vibe of Clockwork. Kind of like I watch Django and can get that Pulp Fiction-Kill Bill-Tarantino vibe even though none of these movies really have much in common in terms of the plot.
Fair enough. I still don't see it.
Hunger Games 2 is coming soon too, never seen that. Nor the first one. Any good?
Tombstone was recently added, started watching it last night but fell asleep. Can't believe I've never seen it.
Trailer Park Boys.
I really liked both Hunger Games films. If you've seen a fair amount of the teen sci-fi dystopia stuff that's around now it likely won't come across as anything new but at the time I found the first a breath of fresh air, and was glad to see that young woman from Winter's Bone land such a good role. You can see how Lawrence became a star with this.
I saw Divergent and quite enjoyed it. I will check out the Hunger Games this weekend.
Django Unchained is on Netflix. I haven't felt like dedicating 3 hours to watching it yet.
Any recommendations? Looking for a tv show.
Happy Valley
Programmes I should watch but don't because my mum likes them therefore I automatically think it's shite.
Which ones?
I was recommended Sense 8 today, not seen anything of it yet.
'Short Poppies' is good. Kind of like 'We Can Be Heroes', but it's got Rhys Darby/Murray from FOTC as a different character each episode.

Oooh. I will check into that
Since I got Netflix have seen -
Breaking Bad
Better Call Saul
The Shield
Marco Polo
House of Cards
Suits
Damages (on series 3 now)
What next?
Fuck sake better call Saul is on Netflix. I wasted some bandwidth.
I've struggled to enjoy anything as much as the shield.
Ah The Shield, I really should be started that.
Do it. For all the brilliance of sopranos, breaking bad and possibly game of thrones, the shield shites on it.
The Shield is bloody brilliant. Probably only Breaking Bad was as good from that list.
I'm currently trying to finish off the Shield. I'm about halfway through season 6. It and The Wire are my two favorite "cop shows" that people need to see. Very different shows but both just so so good. The Wire has more layers than an onion and The Shield is like having a panic attack for 45 minutes every single episode.
Problem with starting the Shield is that I believe it is coming off of UK Netflix in the next week or two.
If you use a VPN then this is less of an issue as I'm sure it'll be on one of the other regions.
I watched a few seasons of The Shield, but I never really liked it and I actually ended up hating it.
I've been watching Magnum P.I. It's a fun little show.
No thread for it that I can see, but has anyone UK based got NOW TV?
I got it for GOT and Mad Men, but that aside not sure what I else is worth seeing.
I have never seen the shield.
Watching Sense 8. Its pretty early Heroes, so far. Yet, I am emotionally invested in some of the characters. JMS still has that writing power.
If he has to tell you again it's a dildo slapping.
Sense 8 has a ridiculous amount of sex and all nude. I mean all nudity. There seems to be a plot, but its moving kinda slow.
Wanking furiously then?
Iooooooooooh tits and minge!
wank wank wannnnnnnnnnnk!
Sense 8 just got pushed up the queue. :shifty:
I just finished. Again, its slow, but man there is some good shit there minus of course the wanking material. There is one scene in the middle...well...you'll get to it.
Fuck I don't think I can get past daryl hannah's plastic surgery face.
It doesn't last long.
I went with sons of anarchy.
Stop after Season 5.
Which season should I turn the audio on? :p
just fubished watching all 8 seasons of house
now to move onto either mash or x-files
The Shield is really the best show ever.
Leprechaun: Origins is now on US Netlfix. The one starring Hornswoggle....
