Half way through Bosch Season 5. Its a slow burner but hopefully it's so that the second half pays off.

Half way through Bosch Season 5. Its a slow burner but hopefully it's so that the second half pays off.
The first season of Society was fun. It has the same vibe that The 100 had on CW. It feels like a CW show, but again, it's fun, nothing award-winning.
Began Dead To Me. I like it so far!
Trailer just dropped for Black Mirror Season 5 coming June 5th.
The Dirt was enjoyable. Nothing great but it had some pretty good moments. MGK did a good job as Tommy Lee though.
Finished Dead To Me. Enjoyed it! Lots of twists.
Outside of Netflix I am watching Chernobyl which is excellent (but harrowing shit obvs) and watched the first Ep of Shane Meadows' The Virtues with Stephan Graham which shows a lot of promise.
Began Jail Birds. I'm hooked. I love docuseries.
Good Girls: sooo good!

This probably deserves it's own thread. Unbelievable viewing.
Good Omens on Amazon has been fucking amazing.
Just started watching How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)
Only watched one episode so far but its done really well style wise.
When They See Us is on my list.
Still watching Good Girls.
Just echoing the thoughts about When They See Us. It's a tough watch, but bloody hell it's good.
The Chef Show is kinda fun
When They See Us is so hard to watch because it's so devastatingly sad. I was going to give up on it but the last 15 minutes made it worth it.
Watched the first episode on Monday mate. Be watching the 2nd one tonight, think I needed a rest after the first one.
The Guilty. What a ride. Go watch it now.
Rocko's Modern Life. Loved this cartoon growing up and Netflix just put up a 45 minute return special. I thought it was dam good.
I finally got around to watching some of the Dave Chappelle specials starting with the newest one Sticks and Stones. This dude is godlike to me. Apparently him and Joe Rogan did or are still doing a comedy tour together selling out huge arenas left and right. Then at the end they both get on stage together and just shoot the shit.
I also started watching Season 9 of the Walking Dead. Great so far. I'm a huge fan of the show, I don't pretend to be a writer or a director or an actor when I'm this big of a fan lol. About 5 episodes in and it's one of the best seasons I've watched.
Also, I am dabbling in Mindhunters. Which is so weird because I recently read up on Ed Kemper, and I honestly didn't realize this show was based in reality I just started watching it because my ex-gf told me to after seeing the first 5 minutes of episode 1 lol. So far so good on this one as well.
And did anyone else hear that The Ranch is coming back? Idk why but I really like this show. Reminds me of some relatives on my dad's side lol.
Yeah I heard the dude that played Red on 70s Show is joining for this last season.
I don't much care for the show but the wife loves it and she's very excited it's coming back.
I never pay attention to who the showrunner is or the writers. For me I've been loving every season but I do know some fans who are negative to certain aspects....especially when it comes to comic to show.
I will admit last season I wasn't a big fan of the end. Especially the behind the scenes bullshit. That shit I did pay attention to and wasn't high on it.

Lmfao dude that shit would be incredible.
I don't really know much about the comics. I've read them up until the war with the Governor.
But the show has had a problem for years that stems from Robert Kirkman. He felt like Mazara ran through the prison story way too fast and wanted him replaced. So they did. From that point forward the show dragged ass. The whole Negan storyline could've been done in half the time they did it. But it just dragged and dragged. When it was finally over I didn't even give a shit anymore.
The show seems to be moving in new directions and they seem to be fully exploiting the coolness and psychoticness of the Whispers. Best villains the show have ever had. Can't wait for next season.
Oh yeah Negan was great. Maybe the best singular new character they've added since Michonne. But the story just drug on to the point that I no longer had the interest in it I should have so the climax came off flat. And I think that was the general feeling most had.
I suppose the real problem is that Negan may have been interesting but the story itself was just too basic. He was just a dude who bullied everyone out of their shit and kept his people in line with fear. That's all good but just not enough meat on the bone for two years worth of episodes.
Late to the party, but I'm enjoying Sunderland 'Til I Die. 'Enjoying' is the wrong choice of word, I guess; it's a very interesting look into a club mid freefall. So much anger in the terraces and rightly so, you'd have to say. Sad to see, as they are a big club. I'd love to see them get promotion this season.
Chris Coleman comes across well in this, as does the Chairman, for me. His hands were tied and he seemed to be doing an impossible job there.
The Jack Rodwell situation wasn't pretty. To come out and say he wanted to get his career back on track, knowing the mess the club was in financially etc, he really should have moved on. But that's modern footballers for you.
I have a couple of episodes left.
I've also started Dead to Me, which I like the look of, and Narcos I'm getting to the end of season 1. I may not bother going on with seasons 2 and 3 though. Too many other programmes to watch.
Anyone getting into The Spy? Two down and going to knock out the third this evening.
Slow build thus far with the last ep turning the pace up a bit, but it's fine for all that is being packed in. Cohen has been quite nice. Very earnest, but also showing the kind of trepidation you'd expect from a civilian turned full on undercover spy.
Hope this keeps on well.
Just finished S2E03 of Succession. I'm obsessed. That 'Boar on the Floor' sequence might be the funniest thing i've watched all year. Can't believe how good Brian Cox continues to be at the age of 73. I see episode 8 that airs this week was filmed in Gleneagles and Dundee.

Began "Mindhunter" season 1.
Marrianne is amazing if you can deal with overdubbing.
I-Land is fucking terrible. Bad writing, bad acting. Bad bad bad. It's like Lost only shitty.
Started South Park. Well, watched episode 1. Looks and sounds pretty terrible. Wasn't that the point though?
Still funny in places. Cartman, Mr Garrison, Chef; yeah still watchable.
Just finished ep 4 of The Spy ... please, somebody else must be watching this, yes?
I finally got around to watching Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later. Binged the whole thing in one sitting Tuesday afternoon because it was a delight. I fucking love the WHAS franchise.
On the other end of the spectrum, i just tried a couple episodes of I Think You Should Leave and it was pretty painful. I think I laughed twice.
Obsessed with Mind Hunter. So good!
Rhythm + Flow on netlfix. Only through the L.A. auditions, but..
..this is legit fun.
I'm a huge hip hop head, is this going to be something I would dig? I saw the judges, fuckin Cardi B....The eye test took me back to that reality show with Puffy, the BAND, remember that whack shit? lol.
But I did just wrap up the Evolution of Hip Hop series, fuckin magnificent. Let me know if it's worth it.
Schitts Creek is very very good.
Anyone check out Daybreak yet on Netflix?
Pretty dope.
Nice alternative story to the Apocalypse.
Wrapped up the latest season of Schitt's Creek. One of my favorite seasons.:(
I just started watching F Is For Family. Amazing.
I highly recommend the serialized extended cut of Hateful Eight that Tarantino put on Netflix in 4 episodes. It's the best version of it IMO - the extended footage and 45 minute episodes play out beautifully (I've only watched 3, 1 to go). I already liked this movie and now it's even better.
I hope he does the same thing with Once Upon a Time in America since it's been said he cut out a ton of stuff and wants to release an extended version. Doing it this way would be grand.
Ill give it a watch. I keep forgetting its on there.
Anyone watch Living with Yourself with Paul Rudd? Its amazing.
Dont watch if you dont like Paul Rudd though. Its literally double Rudd.
But I dont think I've ever seen a show tease suicide and depression this much in my life.
Living With Yourself is on my to watch list. Currently watching Queen Eye In Japan.
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/am...comedy-1248910
Great piece there about the show and its future. Looks like its up in the air. It was so well done though, Id trust season 2 to be good as well.
Living With Yourself was too long. What they might have planned for a 2nd season could have been in the first season. So many episodes dragged and they weren't even that long. But you could have accomplished the 1st season in 4 episodes of the same length. That would have left room for more. It was definitely a good show, I really liked it, but it dragged ass.
Latest season of Toys That Made Us is up. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is really good episode. The wrestling figure one was... meh. Felt like a lost opportunity with wrestlers that are kinda historians of that stuff.
I was surprised Zack Ryder and/or Curt Hawkins weren't on the pro wrestling episode of Toys That Made Us. I also found it puzzling that they only referred to ECW as "Eastern Championship Wrestling" the entire episode. Haven't watched any other episodes yet but I'll probably dial up the TMNT one sometime.
I started Raising Dion it's pretty much a kids show like but decent enough
The only ones I haven't watched out of the 3 seasons were Hello Kitty, Star Trek, and I'm not done with Power Rangers. Some of these toys I have no care for, but the stories are fucking fabulous.
I thought it was super weird that they kept calling it EASTERN. I have to imagine they couldn't get clearance to say EXTREME.
I was very shocked the only wrestlers we saw were X-Pac for about 3 seconds and Cody Rhodes for about 22 seconds. But I loved Jewish Lightning lol.
Movies that Made Us seems to be awesome as fuck. Ep 1 was Home Alone. 2 is Ghost fucking Busters.
Definitely going to check that show out.
I was just about to come in here and post about this show. I just added it to my list so I'll probably check it out tonight after I finish the Power Rangers episode of the other one.
I saw the 4 movies: Dirty Dancing, Home Alone, Die Hard, and Ghostbusters. That's a very very solid 4. It's almost a Mt Rushmore. The chick flick, the family comedy, the action, and the science fiction/horror.
Oh man, that sounds amazing.
And I've actually seen all four of those films! :D
Ha, I'm working on it, Nash. Very slowly, but surely.
Yeah I didnt know the DD one was on there. For whatever reason it started playing the Home Alone one when I started it.
Netflix is fucking goofy since the update.
So I watched the GB episode last night. Now I had heard a million times how Eddie Murphy was supposed to be in it early on in development and how Ernie Hudson had his part trimmed down during filming and I had always assumed that was because Ernie was filling in for the role and since he wasnt a big star they cut the part down. Only to find out that it was actually Bill Murray that was subbing in for Eddie as the original group was going to be Akroyd, Murphy, Ramis and Hudson. Then shit changed.
These guys could make any movie interesting I swear.
Imagine Eddie Murphy in that role....That would have been awesome as well I think.
Damn, y'all need to dial up "I Lost My Body". Gorgeously animated, great music, intriguing story. Very compelling film. Highly recommend it.
I watched The Irishman over the weekend. Good film. It could have been 30-40 minutes shorter.
Pretty sure he meant that in reference to Murray's performance being the hardly attainable bar..
Oh if I thought Bill Murray sucked I'd start a whole thread just for the attention.
If anyone has yet to watch 'The 4400' or 'Jericho' I suggest you do so. They are my two most recent binge watches, and I like to enjoy my television shows so I probably will not be binge watching anything any time soon after them.
Watched the Aaron Hernandez doc last night, Going in I somehow had never heard anything heard anything on it. So as it starts im thinking young kid bad home wrong crowd etc, Then im thinking how does someone play at that level having murded someone and not crack, By the end im looking at NFL bosses talking and wanting to punch them for saying how sfe it is and encouraging kids how great it was.
They exemanied this fuckers brain and the absolute state of it for a man in his 20s, Can never excuse his actions but I really Don't think he stood a chance.
The Good Place. Finished season 1. It's very enjoyable.
One of my favourites. Sadly coming to an end next week.
Late to the party, but Dead to Me is a good watch and I still love Christina Applegate a little bit.
Safe is very good drama too and I love Amanda Abbington a lot.
On the flip side, it is taking me an age to get through Homeland season 4. It's not bad at all, but so far away in quality from season 1. I still liked it in season 2, 3 was very disjointed, but I still enjoyed. 4, I've been on it for months.
Can't imagine seasons 5-7 are going to be worth bothering with.
I'm excited for new seasons of Narcos and Ozark!
I enjoyed season 1 of Narcos, but not sure I'm going to bother with season 2. Is the new series the 4th?
Season 2 was still worth it for Narcos. Haven't gone through Season 3 yet.
Season 2 was good.
Season 3 and Narcos Mexico were better imo. This is the second season of Mexico but 5th overall

this is why i like watching shows when they are over and done with. so there isn't that lag where I have to refresh my memory
