if it was up to me Stokes and Hooper would be in stocks behind the Jock Stein stand. He probably needs blooded for about a third to half a season, but he looks incredible.

What's wrong with Hooper? I think the guys quality. Stokes does a job in the SPL and I would say hearts and Dundee united are the only teams with a bit of quality this year. Yous should score barrell loads.
Hooper's unfit, loses the ball far too often, is caught offside ridiculously too much, rarely seems to be in the right position, is always stretching for the ball and his hold-up play is absurdly bad. And Stokes isn't much better.
I agree a million percent with you Fanny. Neither the two of them have any dig or fight in them, they go missing when we're up against it and only seem to really be effective when all the work is being done for them.
I always hated when we were playing against hooper cause of the shift he would put in against us. Most tims I know seem to adore the guy. I've only watched your champions leauge game this year so I can't really comment on fitness. There has been a few players throughout Lennons reign that have been accused of fitness issues, I wonder why that is. Apart from the fact they are constantly put on the piss.
I wouldn't say fitness so much as I just think he lacks a bit of tactical awareness. He doesn't read the line really well or make any inventive runs, just wanders about between the two centre halves and hopes someone gets wide and plays him in for a tap-in.
I hope these two new strikers at least put Hooper and Stokes under a bit of pressure for a place and gives them a kick up the arse. Other than that, Watt looks like he'll be a beast in a few years time. Perfect season to bleed in young guys in the league and keep experience for the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
How much do yous know about this miku guy?
Yup it's the perfect season and the next and the next and the next and the next.
FUCKING HELL FUCK THE FUCK OFF CRAIG BURLEY! WHAT A SHIT HUMAN YOU ARE!

Rangers chief executive Charles Green insists his fallen Scottish giants will be involved during the inevitable transition to a European super league.
The club unveiled plans for admission to the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange on Thursday in the hope of raising up to £20million. Green anticipates the exploitation of untapped revenue streams such as merchandising will help elevate Rangers back into the Scottish Premier League.
And, once there, he insists they will be welcomed at the top table of European football, the landscape of which will be radically altered by the demands of top clubs.
"There will be a European league because big teams can't keep subsidising small teams like Southampton for the next 10 years because they will go stale," he said.
"Arsenal don't want to play Southampton or Swansea, but ask them if they want to play Celtic or Rangers. It's what the fans want to see. Fans across the world want to see Manchester United play Barcelona, not just once every few years but every season.
"If there are two divisions of 18 clubs, how could Rangers not be a part of that? I'm convinced it will happen because otherwise where will the revenues for the top come from?
"These days Arsenal are struggling to sell out their game against West Ham. How can Manchester United's revenues be £320million and Aston Villa, who are completely useless, get £250? It all comes from Sky and it's not decided by what a club puts in.
"What Manchester United put into world football is massive, but what they take out of it is a joke and they won't put up with that for much longer."
Every time that guy opens his mouth I hate him a little bit more. Not because of his Rangers association but because he's an idiot who doesn't have a clue.
also because of his rangers association
Yeah that probably should have read "Not just because of his Rangers association"
Have any of you lot read Stramash? And if so is it any good?
Celtic were absolutely incredible this afternoon. Every player was excellent, Mathews to me was the stand out though. Out of his natural position and had a complete blinder. Whole new system today as well 3-5-2 basically and yous looked like you had been plying that way all season. As much as it pains me to say it Lennon really is doing an incredible job right now.
Fucking hell MikeHunt I wish I could be half as complimentary about your team, when they were good anyway!
I think Mike is a secret Celtic fan. He hasn't stopped talking about them recently.
Can one of you lovely gents translate this for me?
:dunno:Quote:
A complete riddy. Every goal he scores in the spl and CL will be a riddy for the sevvies as the rely on elbows mcculloch in their lower league wrestling matches.
And I may actually watch the plucky wee club today as they attempt to stop GMS and wee Johhny Russell run amok through the sevvy sieve.
Thats got "riddy" written all over it
A riddy is a red face, inferring he of red face is embarrassed
Sevvies = sevco = Rangers
Rangers = steaming pile of AIDSish shit
Is this really a shock to you?
Where did anyone imply that?
The statement appeared as if you weren't aware of how bollocks rangers are.
I bloody love johnny Russell such a great talent.
That wasn't a reference to their current status.
Did Black deserve to go today? I hate that cunt.
we were really poor and yeah both sendings off were deserved.
faure and cribari are fucking bollocks probably two of the worst players ive ever seen at ibrox. lee wallace must be completely fucked after every single game with the amount of covering he does for the rest of the back four. shockingly bad.
Young Aussie Tom Rogic is in the starting line up for Celtic tonight.
Going to try and find a stream to watch it on but hopefully he tears it up.
He played well, mate!
Aye, managed to watch it. I thought he looked like he was definitely finding his feet in the opening bit of the game but after ICT scored, he was all over the place. He has been slated by quite a few journalists over here for his lack of workrate but I think he might have covered every blade of grass on the weekend, looked proper stuffed at the end of the game.
Hope he gets a run next weekend as well.
Great news for Huns today. 54 and counting!!!!
Really sad situation at my local club Dunfermline. Players haven't been paid on time for the fifth consecutive month. They were only just up to date before they were only paid 20% of their wage at the end of last month. Obviously this is Scottish League 1, meaning the majority of us probably earn more than they do. Players on Twitter saying they're struggling to afford their mortgages and food for their family. Masterton, the chairman, claims it's only a 'minor' cashflow problem and that the club has no debt. Problem is, the club do have debt to the directors, and at least £10m worth of it. Absolutely massive for a club at this level.
They're now getting hammered 3-0 at home after 20 minutes. Very sad and I'm not sure the club is going to be around much longer. If it does go under, the area isn't big enough to support a rebirth I don't think. We already have Raith, Cowdenbeath and East Fife in the Fife area as well as Alloa, Stirling, Livingston, Hibs and Hearts less than half an hour away. No wonder Scottish football is in so much trouble.
Morton are doing well
We're not doing too bad, 4-0 up now. Might even get a draw today.
Sorry Andy.
Unbelievable scenes at Starks Park today, I'm an emotional wreck. Dunfermline might have just played their last ever game. I have never experienced an atmosphere like it, singing non stop from 2pm to half 5, getting behind the players and the manager. Half the place was in tears. Unreal reaction for the goal.
Hoping for some good news in the next couple of days.
Looks like The Pars last game could be against the world famous Dumbarton!
Hope the home fans come out in thousands to get behind the team for what could be their last ever game.
But we'll take the 3 points if that's okay!
I'll be there.
There's so much smoke and mirrors with Masterton, no one really knows what's going to happen. There's talk of Bob Purvis coming in with some funds to support the fan share group but who knows.
We took 2,000 to Raith which was amazing. I'd hope there will be 4,000 at East End Park on Saturday at least.
I get in for free as I'm media (I do the tweets for Dumbarton), but I'll be putting the money I would have paid to get in into one of the collection buckets!
Nice one!
I have to say I've been surprised at the amount of support. I guess no one wants to see Scottish football weakened even further but it has been amazing. Raith and Cowdenbeath making contributions, Partick have offered to donate all net profit on away support gate money too.
Mixed messages coming out of the club and the PSG at the moment. The PSG maintain they're hopeful of an outcome, the club aren't saying much and Masterton has been silent since rejecting the first supporters group offer. I'll be there on Saturday and I'll go to the game against Falkirk in midweek and away at Livingston the next weekend. I just hope the club still exists by the time I get back from New York.
What a tackle from big Hanley. Bet that cunt filled his drawers there. Definite penalty shout as well.
Should have just stuck with Levine. The players are just shite. If Kenny fucking miller ever plays for Scotland again or in fact is selected in the squad I'm not even paying attention. I could add several other gutless cunts to that list as well.
All the best to big Jon Daly on his retirement from football...
FUCK YAS!!!!!! That felt brilliant. Can't beat a decent international performance and victory! Russell Martin was fantastic.
Shame we can't do it when it matters.
Believe badger!
Anyone know anything about James Keatings? Was apparently Celtic U19's top scorer a few seasons back then did a cruciate ligament. Spent a few months on loan at The Accies and St Johnstone last season.
He's on trial with us here in Australia.
Amazing result for St. Johnstone tonight, beating Rosenberg over two legs to get through to the next qualifying round of the Europa League. Hibs on the other hand just got beat 7-0 at home to Malmo and 9-0 on aggregate. Ouch.
methinks they've another loooooooong old season ahead of them, the Hibees.
Christ aye, there's just nothing remotely resembling consistency there. I'm a bit out of the Scottish football loop, griffiths is still there isn't he? Shocked Celtic aren't taking a punt on him but he'll probably keep Hibs going singlehandedly this year.
Gone back to Wolves.
Ah, they're in bother then.
Hooper's off to QPR for 5 mil apparently. Good riddance, I hate that fat lazy fucker.
Nah Norwich nipped in and matched their bid - had a medical etc there today.
oh so it's Norwich then? Meh, either way he's havign a complete fucking laugh thinking he's any chance of getting in the England squad.
Benbo, I hate his fucking atoms, genuinely. I hate almost as much that he actually scores goals - if he was fit, had half-decent positional sense and a touch more pace, he could double his tally for a season. He is a lazy sausage and, as ludicrous as this may sound, is not actually a great finisher!!
I'm so proud of little Stevie May. From playing in the lowly Scottish Division Three to scoring the winning goal in a Europa League tie. And what a great little finish it was, too.
Since being at Colchrister Rovers for the last season he feels I've nurtured him to greatness. Never mind he said you had a bit of the Steve McLaren going on over there, just rumours mind. Oh he might have called you a dick as well.
On a more serious note it is great result for St Johnstone. I really do hope they make it into the league stages.
Fanny must be back on the drink. The guy's been our most important player for the past 3 years. He might have been a bit far and lazy at times but for the most part he done the business and we're making a profit off him. I think he's a legend. Good luck to him.
Was never his biggest fan. Actually rate Stokes over him. 18m for Wanyama and Hooper is absolutely insane and there could be some good business to be done for us over the next month, especially if we get into the Champions League. Could maybe even buy Sevco a new bus lolz
Scottish football is in truly dire condition at the moment.
I think this is the very bottom. Like, I don't think it will every get any worse domestically than it is right now. Which leaves me quite hopeful, because the only way is up surely?
It's been utter pish for years now. Call me a glory hunter or whatever, but I only really care when we play Rangers or in Europe. I still watch all the games but I really struggle to give a fuck.
And us in preseason friendlies.
Pfft, I dunno. The national team is shit, youth development is shit, the standard of the SPL is laughable and there's a big club going into administration every other month. Sounds awful but I'm sure it could get worse. It's only a matter of time before a big club like Hearts or Dunfermline go properly out of business, then before long you'd have semi-pro teams in the SPL. More results like Hibs' one last night and Scotland's quota in Europe will be fucked and eventually it'll only be Celtic in Europe and starting in the first round of the Europa League. So yeah, it's not good.
And the pre-season game between Celtic and Liverpool is an absolute joke. Talk about harming the integrity of the league. Postponing the second league game of the season so Celtic can go off to Dublin on a money making trip. Ridiculous.
I actually think we've got as strong pool for the national team as we have in years. If Strachan get a bit of consistency out of them I could see us make the play-offs for Euro 16.
It'll probably help they've increased the number of teams that will qualify too.
Andy's such a closet Hun that it's funny.
I think Scotland could wallop England in this friendly.
That Forrest for Celtic runs like Aaron Lennon. Good game here.
Well this is shaping up to be hilarious.
Ach don't be daft. We've been all over them and they've snatched a goal. We will still win comfortably over the two legs. They're ranked lower than Queen of the South lolz
Sure Celtic were ranked lower than Barca last season...
But yeah, I'd like to think they'll win over two legs - not sure it'll be comfortable though.
Missed my point there didn't you champ? plz dont neg rep me again
Maybe you won't go through then, fucking hell.
Woeful.
This Kazak team qualifying would surely be a logistical nightmare for UEFA with the time difference, distance teams would have to travel in short spaces of time etc - wouldn't surprise me if the ref tried to "help" Celtic next week.
oooof, so that's not good. Can't afford to concede fuck all at Parkhead then.
Trialist scored a hat-trick for Rangers tonight, A star is born.
So happy it's unreal. It's times like this I'm thankful for being a Celtic supporter and not a fan of (no offence) some go-nowhere, mid-table, shit-heap in England. Our whole season was riding on this and they managed to deliver - the hard way as usual. We NEED a striker and midfielder in now. I'd say we need to but a defender as well but I've given up hope since the last consistent centre back we signed was Mjallby in '98.
COYBIG
As a big Rangers man, Andy will be gutted that Celtic made it through tonight. But he'll be pleased that Viktoria Plzen qualified cause that will boost the Czech coefficient and give his team FC Vysočina Jihlava a better chance of European qualification next year.
Yeah I was just about to say that
Still dying from last night. Incredible scenes. Had a fiver on 3-0 at 6/1 which is better than a kick in the mush I suppose. I was convinced that we'd be 2-0 up at 90 minutes, make it 3 in extra time, then they'd score and beat us on away goals. Glad I was proven wrong. Also glad that wee prick Forrest got the winner as he's been a bit useless recently. Thank god for that. Got at least 6 games to look forward to now and if Rangers stop being so shite and draw us in the Scottish Cup, that would be good too.
Was at the game last night, was incredible. Also had a massive 2 quid on 3-0 commons at 25/1 so that was nice. Great stuff, buzzing for the draw.
God I love bein' a priest
Well that's Amsterdam booked up.
I'm well up for this tonight, stuck £12 on Scotland at 4/1 - great price for us at home I thought.
Saw Belgians everywhere today - they same like a decent bunch.
I'm fancying a mulgrew free kick tonight. I've got high hopes as usual which means we'll almost certainly get pumped! I'd be happy with a benteke injury early on to ease my fears!
If Alan Hutton hurts Big Ben I will hunt him down.
Alan Hutton is absolutely dogshit. Mulgrew has had a good game I really like him at international level. Forrest is fucking crap as well I don't know how yous watch him every week, fucking dire.
Forrest had a purple patch about 2 years ago and that's about it. I was calling him for everything before he put Celtic through last week.
Mulgrew was good tonight probably the only player worth a fuck. There's still a lot of work to do. Belgium look like they would smash a lot of teams at the moment.
I flicked between both.
Honestly Andy that's just not good enough. We don't want or need your type of rangers fan around here, waving your red hand of ulster, wearing your England top, swinging your Union Jack, while walking your corgi at an orange walk. Stick to the engerlish football discussion you indecisive chimp.
