God Mandy rose is awful at wrestling
She gots some nice tiddies though.
Isn’t maverick married lol
Elias with the sick burns.
New music foe elias
Only win Dana Brooke got in 5 years
I fuckin love me some Dash and Wilder.
Corbin looks like a crackhead fryer tuck
So vince thinks this is good tv? Screw you old man
To be fair though, this Roman/Dolph/Corbin is pretty crap. Roman just won the whole Survivor Series for the men. Instead of building on that, they then he gets shit thrown in his face to build sympathy just so he can win again. It is shit.
I fuckin love me some Scott and Dawson.
I fuckin don’t love me some Corey and Graves. I used to but he’s rubbish now.
Not quite JBL level but getting there.
I miss Teddy and Long on Smackdown making tag and team matches. Holla and holla!
I thought it was very interesting to see Bray outside of the Funhouse. It's also interesting that The Miz is facing Bray, not The Fiend. There were reports stating that they could be stalling Bryan and Bray and it seems like that's the case since they booked that match. I'm down for that if they want to give Bray/Bryan more time to breathe and create more layers to the story. Miz works as a fill-in, too.
They're certainly trying things with working against type. Lacey, Alexa, and Elias all seem to be working as faces. I'm not sure if any of them are going to get elevated to a higher level because of it, but I give them credit for trying some new stuff.
The Reigns/Corbin stuff is...rough. Perhaps it's ruff-ruff.
Based on their social media post, Lance Storm's time with WWE has started up as planned and he's working as a producer. He put over Shorty G and said that'd be someone he'd love to work with in some capacity.
The king gimmick for Corbin doesn't seem to be doing anything other than giving him another "win". I liked when he would be announced as the host city's favorite son, and he should be announced as "your one true king of WWE". Nothing else seems to be clicking. Though I thought Gable-Corbin had some good matches together it got worn out. If this were 20 year ago he could be a star on Velocity.
Yeah Corbin’s not over the top enough with this gimmick. Most reaction he’s got was for Rock starting an STD chant.
Miz/Wyatt seems like filler also. Kinda get the story aspect but Miz is barely a threat. He’s lost far more than won since his face turn.
I'm really not giving a shit about TLC.
Apart from the time of year being the Christmas run being a shit time for WWE, making whole PPV concepts out of the likes of TLC and HITC is really a mistake they’ve been making for years when only one or two are actually featured on the PPVs itself. These types of matches should only be used when the feud(s) in question actually warrant it.
Also read that WWE seem to be deliberately holding off on announcing most matches until right before the PPV just to get Network subscribers. That also is a big mistake. They should announce them as early as possible then promote them so they can keep the current fans interested as well as get new subscribers.
Miz/Wyatt is definitely filler, but I think it's a decent angle. It touches on Miz and Bryan's history, shows that deeper side of Miz that despite their differences, respects and cares about Daniel Bryan. More specifically, though, I like the Bray side of it. Was cool to see Bray actually interact as Bray Wyatt, and the stalker mind games is a good twist. It'll probably be a one-off, but I kind of like the idea of Bray Wyatt seeing himself as a good guy who deludes himself into thinking he could insert himself comfortably into other people's families, while The Fiend is purely a vengeance-driven entity.
That said, I'm not expecting a lot from the match, but I think there's a lot of potential for a fun ride getting there.
The problem for me is that it’s too obvious Miz is losing no matter how good the story getting there is. Miz’s losing streak plus the other end of the scale with the Fiend being virtually unstoppable make this hard for me to get into.
Also the Miz/Bryan respect I appreciate, but it also takes me back to Miz beating Bryan at Summerslam proving his way of thinking of doing anything to win was superior to Bryan doing what’s right and using pure skill. Miz bragging while avoiding confrontation until the eventual Mania rematch where Bryan gets the ultimate win earning Miz’s respect would have been glorious. Instead they let Bryan get his revenge win way too quick and now they’re referencing their history in Miz/Wyatt where Miz has no chance of winning.
Too obvious isn't bad if you're given good stuff leading to the actual result. The thing that's good is the increased usage and versatility of the character as a whole by using Funhouse Bray. It's nice to break the norm of having him do things outside of the Funhouse and then we're going to be given a chance to see how Bray works in the ring now not as The Fiend. A big plus is that there won't be the red light for the match too, presumably.
We're obviously going somewhere significant with Bryan, too.
Smackdown was so fucking terrible I shut it off after Elias spanked Maverick, turned on some WCW/NWO v. The World.
What's funny is during that segment I'm watching the crowd and I'm seeing young kids like 7-8 year olds cracking up and that's cool for them.
I did like the 4-way dance for the #1 contenders spot, but wasn't sure about the winners. Wyatt-Miz stuff was ok. I actually hated the Miz in the mix of this shit until Wyatt brought up the family picture. The Miz is such a fucking comedic character that it's hard to really take him serious, it's why I struggled during the Shane feud. But when it comes to his family, it humanizes him beyond just the over the top "A-lister" shit.
But yeah, the whole bit with Elias, Dana, and Drake has sucked dick since the jump. Not sure why both shows have these weird 2 guys 1 girl angles that just completely suck.
Seriously....was there anything worth a damn to watch after Elias? Did I miss a great Roman Reigns-King Caillou segment??
And why the FUCK are they trying to book Lacey Evans as a babyface with that gimmick??????
Don't know why you bother watching any of this shit. NXT is passable, but RAW and Smackdown are dreadful. Just easier to read the results. Might start reading them for PPVs too.
The plus to SD being on Fox is I actually have that channel so I can watch it live but if I miss it, it's usually a couple days before I get around to seeing it on Hulu. Same with Raw, used to watch it the next night on Hulu, now I'm waiting 2-3 days sometimes. It's hard to dodge results but I manage haha.
Just watch NXT. It's always good. Punch up RAW/SD highlights on youtube or 'WWE on FOX''s channel has the whole show summarized in a 3 minute video.
What is more likely: Bryan joins Wyatt and Wyatt just dominates for a long time and Bryan is refreshed as a different type of heel, Bryan reappears and comes to combat The Fiend again and is victorious, or Bryan cons Wyatt again?
I just can't unless it's necessary. I still love WRESTLING. A summarized highlight reel show doesn't do me any good. Sure if it's someone I don't care for, but most of the time I'm digging the matches, just can't stand the verbals.
None.
The most likely scenario is that Fiend isn't losing the championship until Mania.
Bryan is going to come back with a shaved head, super aggressive, and come close to beating The Fiend before getting the Sister Abigail at Royal Rumble again. Your 2nd scenario minus DB winning is imo the most logical. I think he'll show up at TLC after The Miz loses. He'll handle Wyatt, no different than how Rollins was able to beat up Wyatt in his Funhouse. But this will only anger The Fiend and again, I think DB will come close to beating him at Rumble but it'll end the same as it did 5-6 years ago.
