I can't get that "You complaining when I see you, that I never have time, that I'm busy as a beaver" line out of my head.

Gets stuck every goddamned time I hear it.
Listening to the re-release of Mad Season's "Above" on Youtube right now.
On the way to work this morning I heard "I Don't Know Anything" and thought, why don't they play more "River of Deceit"? Well, I'm on youtube, listening to a Sean Price/Killah Priest collab called "Rumblestick" and off to the side for some odd reason was the vid for "River of Deceit". Scary.
I did start the day off with a healthy dose of the Cage/Tame One release "Leak Bros." and then transitioned to Cage/Camu Tao's "Nighthawks". The music on Nighthawks kicks so much ass and the movie they were inspired by is great. Sly Stallone, Billy Dee Williams, and our first look at Rutger Hauer stateside.

Unfortunately there aren't many individual songs on Youtube but it's worth playing that or just downloading. May be the best album I have heard all year.
Lots of Porcupine tree...

I just made it through ILL Bill's Grimey Awards album from last year. And I've been listening to Staind's "Illusion of Progress", a cd I found in my girlfriend's cd case. Never really listened to their stuff all the way through since Break the Cycle, never had any of the cd's after that one. Listening to ILL Bill made me dip back into Non-Phixion, him and Goretex tear it up nicely, love it.

If you don't enjoy this cut of smoothed-out R&B you have no soul, and hopefully soon no vital organs. I literally hope you die if you don't like this song.

I haven't worked out if this is brilliant in a cheesy, basically shit, way or if it's just genuinely great. Either way it's class.

Can't remember where I found this so it might have been from here - lovely little laid-back UKHH track, beat is great.

Daley is one ridiculous looking cunt but his voice is on point. Hopefully the overwhelming and deserved success of Sam Smith will see undercard British soul singers like Daley gaining a bit more recognition.

My favourite ever song. There are others that regularly switch positions when vying for a place in my top ten, but this has been at the top probably since the day I first heard. Just a fucking incredible and beautiful track. I found out the other day that Jacko did all the production on Dangerous (IMO his best album although I know I'm in an army of one on that front) as well, which just blows my fucking mind. The last real musical genius for me. I've been watching his live shows recently and music just runs through his veins, it's incredible to watch him during the Dangerous era shows - his mental condition was visibly deteriorating along with his face but the guy just smashed his shows so hard. TLDR I know, but just thought I'd put it out there.
Dangerous is dope as fuck.
I've been listeing to Ice Cube's Predator today. It's weird hearing rap records from that era compared to now. Artists actually had shit to say whereas now they literally have nothing of worth to say and I would say that almost all of mainstream rap sells because it does well in the club. There's no substance in the mainstream whereas when I was a young 12 year old white boy in Des Moines IA I was so intrigued and in love with what artists like NWA, Ice Cube, Public Enemy, and Ice T were saying. I couldn't relate on a personal level but the energy, the harsh reality being introduced to "White America", I was being educated at a young age about the fucked up world we live in. I feel bad for kids today who are growing up in this music environment, which is why it's a blessing that the internet is where it is because kids can get access to these older records with ease and read up on the reasoning behind these words.
Cash Money what the fuck do they talk about that matters? Yeah money matters, we need it, but 17 tracks about pussy and money by 9,000 rappers is why no rappers from the last 13 years will ever be on a top 20 list or maybe even a top 100 of all time greats. For every Kendrick Lamar there are 200 Lil Wayne/Drake joke artists.

Just curious, what's the opinion around here of Rob Zombie's music?
I dig some White Zomble and a few of his solo songs. He's a fuckin douche though.
