Saying the Mets season is over is premature but I can see where he's coming from. They seem to always be injured and their trainers don't help. First it was Cespedes who was seen barely able to swing in batting practice but they played him anyway and he got hurt. Then Syndergaard was supposed to get an MRI but refused it, made his next start and left early with a partial lat tear. How do you let your player refuse an MRI? Been hearing Mets fans on twitter call for the job of their head trainer and I can't blame them.
What the Yankees did with putting in a reliever then moving him to 1st base for an inning then having him pitch another inning was kinda cool. It didn't work out well for them but still, quirky shit like that is fun.
