Majin Buu from the beginning of the Buu saga in Dragonball Z
His abilities in a nutshell:
* At the beginning of the saga, Buu is shown to be more powerful than a Super Saiyan 2 and was able to keep up with Super Saiyan 3 Goku, he has destroyed countless worlds
* Can withstand an insane amount of punishment, absorb punches & blasts, and is nearly indestructible
* Can morph into any shape and extend parts of his body to grab or punch opponents
* Like all Z fighters, he has different energy blasts that can damage or kill opponents, like his vaporize, pink flash, and angry explosion attacks
* Can divide himself into many clones without losing much power, attacking an opponent at once
* Has the ability to fly and move at speeds unseen to the human eye
* Best known attack is his transformation ray that can turn opponents into foods or other inanimate objects
* Even when Buu takes damage, he has the ability to regenerate or regrow damaged parts of his body almost instantly, even if he has been reduced to a pink blob
* Unlike other Z villains, Buu likes to get close to opponents and fight them with his fists more than use energy attacks
* Simple in mind, Buu doesn't have an ego or get too cocky in a fight.
* Most importantly, Buu has the ability to absorb opponents and take their powers, memories, and abilities. He has absorbed many opponents, which has led to many transformations and enhanced abilities
Let me know if this sounds okay. I don't think anybody has used this guy before and he might be fun to use.

Normally I would use a coin flip to determine who goes first but as there are triple threats involved, I will be using the DICE OF DEATH instead. Randolph had numbers 1-3 and Hero! 4-6. I rolled a 2 so Randolph will be going first.
Majin Buu, the destroyer of worlds and he who absorbed the vast powers of the Kais, has escaped from his prison. Finding himself in a Spanish fighting ring of all places, Buu needs no time to prepare to fight, but does have time to order some food.
Still under orders from Babidi to kill, Buu will lay waste to those who stand in his way. Especially those who stand in the way of the buffet.
Buu packs a punch that rivals Goku's Super Saiyan 3 form. With boundless energy and amazing power, Buu could destroy this entire measly planet with one blast... if the food wasn't so delicious.
Buu's main claim to fame is his ability to withstand punishment and regenerate almost instantly. Even being reduced to mere paste will not stop him from reforming and coming back at you with full power.
While even supremely powerful beings like Goku gets tired, Buu will keep at you until you have nothing left. With the ability to fly and teleport instantaneously, normal beings will find it impossible to keep up with the pink blob. With the absorbed power of the gods themselves, Buu has reserves that will keep him in any fight.
Looking around the cage he is supposed to fight in, he notices it to be pretty small. For the big Buu, that won't leave him with much room to fly or manuever, but it doesn't matter. Buu can change shape or size at will, without giving up strength or power. His quick moves will also make him a hard target, not that he thinks about things like that. It just comes naturally in any fight he finds himself in.
BUU CAN'T WAIT TO FIGHT! BUT FIRST, BUU MAKE ROOM FOR SECONDS!
Buu heads for the bathroom and does one more thing before the big fight...
Okay, two things. Having a clean mouth is always important after a meal.
He is all ready. Let's do this...

Hero!
Let It Go.
You hear this being sung across the mountains, but you’re not sure why. It’s been snowing for days and no one knows how to stop it. What is this overwhelming force of nature?
Oh, it’s the Queen. Queen Elsa of Arendelle, to be exact.
Elsa isn’t just the Queen, she’s one of the most powerful beings in the world. Being the bridge between the world of the living and the spirit world means that she has access to powers and help from beings no one can ever imagine. Here's her badass water horse: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...ECXug&usqp=CAU
Who could possibly stand a chance against her? Well, if you think you can step up to her, then…
Buu was dancing around the fight arena, entertaining himself until the fight starts. That's when he finds a piece of paper describing his opponent and her powers.
HMMMMM.... OH BOY! SHE'S THE ICE CREAM LADY! BUU IS GOING TO GET ICE CREAM IF HE BEATS HER UP! BUU LOVE ICE CREAM!
With Buu's incredible power and ability to withstand attacks both hot and cold, he feels no fear. In fact one of his more powerful energy blasts is call the Flame Shower Breath, pictured below.
With his world-destroying capabilities and having no vital organs to freeze, keeping him locked down in ice would be impossible. He doesn't need air to survive and can simply overpower any icy prison he finds himself in. The limited arena will also make this match a more intimate one, making Buu's powerful punches and kicks all the more important.
It also is a good reminder that not only can Buu punch faster and harder than any Disney mortal, he can split himself into multiple Buus and attack you at once. You won't be getting one verse of Let It Go out before your face ends up looking like rump roast.
As far as freezing based attacks, Buu has done well in the cold vacuum of space and did not suffer any decrease in speed or power in his attacks.
He can clone himself, liquify, and even turn into a gas to escape capture. Any frozen part of his body will simply be smashed free or discarded if it's too inconvenient for him to deal with. He is literally the most durable being in the universe.
And as for Buu's strategy: he's too simple to make strategies. He's too fast for your ice moves, he's gonna get right in your face, and then blast you into Kingdom Come until you submit and give Buu what he truly want...
Under orders of Babidi, anything he wants he has to take by force, so simply submitting to Buu and giving him tons of ice cream will save you from a fate worse than death.
Our environment doesn’t matter, As Elsa’s powers can reach anywhere. With just one outburst, Elsa is able to change the weather within her kingdom indefinitely. We could be fighting literally anywhere, Elsa will always have control of the environment.
You think you’ll be able to just slink away? You think you can sneak up on Elsa and just hit her in the face? Cute. Good luck, as Elsa can just freeze you over and again.
“But Buu will break out of the ice!”
Cool. Then you’ll be frozen again. And again. And again. Until you tire.
You see Buu, you’ve touted your fighting abilities and your regenerating abilities, but you’ve forgotten one thing:
I am a spirit. You are a mortal.
Elsa can fight forever. Buu, you hungry little fool, you’ll gas out trying to fight the queen. You’ll throw punches until you’re pink(er) in the face and then you’ll have to stop for a snack. Did you think I wouldn’t know that you’ll need a bite to eat, you tub of goo?
Not to mention one last major distinction between Buu and Elsa:
Elsa is a Queen, trained from childhood to rule a kingdom and command an army. She knows military strategy and how to dictate her own battles.
Buu is a weapon. With the mind of child, he can be manipulated by anyone.
Buu literally does not know what to do by himself. In this clip here, her explains how he doesn't even know why he kills and he is immediately swayed to pacifism by one of the dumbest characters in all of Dragonball Z:
As Hercule said at 3:28, “I got this guy to change his way and I didn’t have to throw a punch or blow him up”
Much like Babidi originally controlled Buu and then that oaf Hercule controlled him, the queen will sing a pretty song to Buu like any other child, you’ll be singing “Let it Go” and wearing Frozen Pajamas in no time. All your fighting skills and abilities will be useless as you're dazzled by Elsa's mighty ear worm-inducing singing abilities.
Elsa won’t need to fight you as hard as you think. You’re a literal child. You’re in the target demographic, babe. Just buy into it or as we say in the biz:
Buu laughs at the idea of ice keeping him down. Buu is a supernatural being who has destroyed entire worlds and gods themselves, what could some snow queen do to him?
Without Babbidi in Buu's head, Buu is like letting a chimpanzee run around with a gassed-up chainsaw... People are going to get hurt.
Goku and Vegeta are lifelong fighting masters, trained in multiple techniques and hold massive power, yet they couldn't get anywhere in their respective fights with Buu, despite Goku's Super Saiyan 3 transformation. Elsa's knowledge is a drop in the bucket compared to the masters Buu has fought against and won. I mean, what is a spirit to a god?
Buu is more child-like than the other villains, but don't let that fool you. Buu has been around for many years, maybe as old as millions years old, and does still retain the fighting knowledge and abilities of those he absorbed. He has employed many different fighting and power attacks in his dealings with the Z Warriors.
Comparatively, Elsa has no real experience in fighting sentient beings with powers that Buu possesses. Buu has done it countless times. Without time to formulate a long-term strategy, she will be overwhelmed by Buu's astounding attacks and blast beams.
Suffering mental illness as a child, Elsa is prone to anxiety and panic attacks, which can reduce any chance to talk Buu down and get him to stop destroying her world. She still suffers from low self esteem and Buu's childish rampages will drive her up the wall, at least until Buu decides he's had enough and punches her into outer space.
While Elsa will try to use reason and understanding to the child-like Buu, he will be too busy chomping down the candy that once was the bar patrons. He's not going to listen to you until you give him ice cream, and god help you if he gets brain freeze.
But while Buu is finishing his treat, some horrible kiddy-pop song starts, which is being sung by that ice cream lady.
Are you stuck on repeat? Once Again you’ve listed your powers, your strengths, and what you think will lead you to victory….but you’ve never really said how you’ll beat me.
I know it’s tough being on the ropes like this, but your strategy boils down to: IM GONNA HIT ELSA RLLY HARD.
Elsa controls the environment, the literal ground and air you’ll be fighting in. You didn’t even address this because you know damn well that even if Buu can withstand the cold, Elsa will just keep freezing him solid. Break apart into all the tiny molecules you want, Elsa will freeze those too. It’s the day of reckoning and the ice (wo)Man cometh.
“But Elsa, Buu is really good at fighting MARTIAL ARTISTS”
Cool, but Elsa isn’t a martial artist. She doesn’t get psyched about by some pink guy who can move quickly and hit hard. Elsa doesn’t have the same mental block that guys like Goku or Vegeta do fighting against someone like Buu. Those guys have PTSD from their battles with Freiza and Cell….Buu does one impressive move and they’re in their own heads.
But Elsa is not them…she is a queen, she is composed, she has poise. She is regal as fuck. You’re not getting in her head, you gelatinous creep.
But you know whose head will be easily gotten to? The kid who came to the fight without his parents, The literal child standing in front of the hottest marketing gimmick of the last 20 years.
Once you’ve been frozen twice, thrice, or umpteen times and you’re tired of fighting against a tireless spirit, here’s a ticket to Disneyland, go build yourself a snowman…it’s on the house.
Voting starts now. How this will work is there’ll be a public vote by the readers where votes are posted in this thread. Total score worth one point. Participants if they want do have the option to vote in other people’s ties if they wish. Anyone else not taking part but wants to vote are eligible too.
Judge votes worth one point each. @Caito @Morrison and @CWE please PM your votes to me.
Votes must be accompanied by an explanation. Remember to vote for who argued better, not the side you just agree with.
I’ll leave voting over the weekend until next Friday. If the judges unanimously agree then will just end the vote there and then as that would be the majority. Otherwise if they’re split then it will carry on with the public vote til next Friday.
If there’s a tie between the reader and judge votes then I’ll vote and break the tie.

Very good round, but I just lean towards Hero.
Both seemed to answer each other very well, but the point of being able to control the environment is a pretty damning one. While Randolph argued well that in hand-to-hand combat that he would most certainly win, the argument of Elsa's power was never fully addressed. He skirted around it a bit but never truly came out with a way to counteract that. That along with the planning capabilities of each fighter pushed me in one direction.
Well debated though.

I have to give this one to Hero!. I felt Randolph set up his abilities well, but he didn't do nearly enough to counter Elsa. Hero! Was smart in playing up on Buu's childlike nature, and Randolph did nothing to convince me that he would somehow be able to get around that. In fact, his second post made me think he'd be easier to manipulate with how angry he'd get from hearing the song. Maybe it would have come up in his final post, but I think Randolph also had a missed opportunity in not saying he'd make Elsa his snack by transforming her.

I'm voting Randolph/Buu. The only real thing that had me swaying a bit was the stuff about Buu's childlike mind and manipulating it but I felt liek that was outweighed by his sheer power advantage. All i really got from Hero's argument was that she'd freeze the guy but Randolph made it clear that freezing wouldn't affect him in the slightest but Hero just came back with, "Ok, but she'll freeze him!" Buu's combat experience/success were countered with, "But she's a queen!" which didn't do it for me, either. Right out the gate, he laid out Buu's speed/power/durability and I was never sold that just freezing him a lot was enough to get it done.

Randolph.
I think Randolph laid out of his abilities wonderfully and explained why Buu is a threat to anyone in this tournament (except Al. Al would have hurt Buu's pride by challenging and defeating Buu in a eating contest. Buu's childlike mind would be sad at losing and he'd give up) and Hero! really pushed the freezing ability but Randolph explained early on how Buu would survive and thrive in the cold weather. Any other argument Hero! came at Randolph with was explained away. Great job by both but I'm going with Randolph.

Just to be fair to you guys, here are the other two judge votes. Not going to put fancy avatars on but just so you know how tight this is:

Hero made good arguments as to how to keep attacking Buu, but Randolph was able to come back and show why they wouldn’t effect Buu as much as might’ve been thought. Combine that with the different ways Buu could fight and showing those he has defeated, gives my point to Randy.

Randolph tried but he couldn't convince me that Buu could overcome that.

First off I want to say very very good fight from the two of you. I can see how close this was and it was very difficult to choose a winner but choose a winner I must.
To kick off, great opening from Randolph. Listed his abilities and had a great plan to compensate for the cramped Vega stage environment I had put these guys in. Hero! also had a great opening listing his powers well, I also liked how he said the environment doesn't really matter as Elsa could control it. Randolph also had a good counterargument about how fast Buu was and how he could cope with the ice attacks. Hero!'s second reply and his quote "I am a spirit, you are a mortal" was a very strong standout statement and he pointed out how Elsa would just do it again and again until Buu got fed up. Randolph gave good examples over past fights he'd been in but towards I end I felt he was repeating himself a bit, something Hero! pointed out here:

Hero!'s last post was very strong and although Randolph gave a very good account himself, I felt Hero" had more of a plan for victory.
My tie-breaker vote goes to @Hero! @Randolph very very unlucky bud but great debut.
