Butters is the best.

Whose the boy that can laugh at a storm cloud?
Turn a frown into a smile for free
Whose the kid with the heartful of magic?
Everyone knows it's Butters

That's Me.

Whose the boy with eyes full of wonder?
Thinks being himself is the best thing to be
Whose that Rascal with the Tweezers in his pockets?
Everyone knows it's Butters

That's me.

Jumpin in Puddles
Skiping down the hallway
Petting at the Petting Zoo
He loves John Alway [Butters: Elway!]

Whose the kid with the cute little dimples?
Batting his eyes at every puppy he sees.
If you look inside yourself you might be surprised when you find a little boy named, Butters

Thats me, yeah

Remember that one?

Classic "Montage" song from the skiing in Aspen episode.

The day is approaching to give it your best
You've got to reach your prime!
That's when you need to put yourself to the test
And show us the passage of time
We're gonna need a montage (Montage)
A sports-training montage (Montage)

And just show a lot of things happenin' at once.
Remind everyone of what's goin' on. (What's goin' on?)
And with every shot, show a little improvement
To show it won't take too long
That's called a montage (Montage)
Even Rocky had a montage (Montage)

In any sport, if you want to go
From just a beginner to a pro
You'll need a montage (Montage)
a simple little montage (Montage)
Always fade out (Montage) into a montage (Montage)

If you fade out it seems like a long time (Montage) has passed in a montage (Montage)
Montage (Montage)

Classic:

Cartman: Yehes, I'm afraid this isn't your chili, Scott. I switched it with Chef's. [Chef looks like he's been used] It's delicious, Chef. I hadn't planned on that. What I did plan on, however, was that my friends, Stan and Kyle, would betray me and warn you that the Chili Con Carnival was a trap. [Stan and Kyle are stunned] I assumed that they would tell you that I had trained Denkins' pony to bite off your weiner. What they didn't tell you was that Denkins is a crazy redneck who shoots trespassers on sight. Knowing that you would try and do somethng to the pony, I warned Mr. Denkins that violent pony killers were in the area. [A shot of Cartman telling Denkins of such a thing. Denkins is armed] I also know that you wouldn't go yourself, for fear of having your weiner bitten off. You would most likely send your parents. [A shot of Scott talking with his parents] And, I'm afraid that when Mr. Denkins spotted them on his property, he shot and killed both your parents. [The Tenormans are in the corral to rescue the "starving" pony, but upon seeing Mr. Tenorman's lit flashlight, Mr. Denkins fires at them, and they go down]
Mr. Denkins: [looks of horror surround him] Well, they was trespassin' and I was protectin' myself. I, I have my rights.
Scott: My... mom and dad are... dead? [A shot of Officer Barbrady taking a report from Denkins]
Cartman: I came just in time to see Mr. Denkins giving his report to Officer Barbrady. And of course, to steal the bodies... [A shot of Cartman arriving, seeing Denkins and Barbrady, and pulling the bodies away. The pony munches at some grass] After a night with the hacksaw, I was all ready to put on my Chili Con Carnival, so that I could tell you personally about your parents' demise! And of course, feed you your chili. [more faces of horror behnd Cartman] Do you like it? Do you like it, Scott? [A gleefully evil look comes over Cartman] I call it, "Mr. & Mrs. Tenorman Chili."
Scott: [looks at Cartman for a while, realizing what's just happened] Oh my God! [gagging, he fishes through the plate and finds his mom's wedding ring, still on her finger. He tosses it away] Oh my God!! [vomits off to the side]
Cartman: [leaping up on the table and sings] Nyahnyahnyahnyah nyah nyah! I made you eat your parents! Nyahnyahnyahnyah nyah nyah! [Stan and Kyle are way stunned]
Stan: Jesus Christ, dude!
Scott: [grief-stricken, he buries his face on the table] My mom and dad are dead! [pounds the table] No! NOOO!! [Radiohead arrives and stands behind Scott. Stan notices]
Thom: Uhm, excuse me?
Stan: Who are you?
Johnny: We're that band, Radiohead.
Scott: [raises his head] Jesus!
Ed: Jeez, what a li'l crybaby!
Colin: Are you gonna cry all day, crybaby??
Thom: You know, everyone has problems; it doesn't mean you have to be a little crybaby about it.
Ed: Come om, guys, let's go. This kid is totally not cool. [the members of the band start leaving]
Thom: Yeah, that's the most uncool kid I've ever met.
Phil: Little crybaby!
Scott: [gathers himself and looks] No, wait! Waaiittt!! Oh my God, Oh my Gaawwwd!! [buries his face in the table and bawls again] Noooo!
Cartman: [walks over to Scott's end of the table] Yes! Yesss!! Oh, let me taste your tears, Scott! [starts licking Scott's tears off his face] Mm, your tears are so yummy and sweet.
Kyle: Dude, I think it might be best for us to never piss Cartman off again.
Stan: Good call.

If what you're worried about is that SOuth Park is over. Not too fret dude. They're making about 2 or 3 more seasons atleast from what I've heard. They wouldn't end a season with only six episodes. As long as people are watching South Park and Matt and Trey really want to keep doing it. You won't have to worry about it ending. I think you could count on about 2 or 3 more seasons at the least. Not to fret.

I watched it Sunday night for the first time in a while since there was nothing else on. The episodes were where Cartman managed to prove that eating with the ass and crapping out of your mouth is better as well as changing the Holy document so priests can have sex with women instead of boys, and the one where Mr "mmm...kay" Mackie gets fired for bringing drugs into school to show the kids that drugs are bad. That was a great episode last night. Especially when they were making fun of J LO that was some funny shit right there. I also liked it how CARTMAN made fun of J Lo with that hand of his. But, it kept me kind of shocked at the end. Cuz he siad "I got you kind of". ANd that leaves me to the conclusion that part of that he wasn't aware he was doing with that J-Lo thing. ALl I'm really trying to point out is through that whole episode almost it's like his hand was possesed and he wasn't doing it. I almost bought that for a minute. But, all in all it was a great episode.

NEW YORK, October 7, 2003 – "South Park" is back and, in a blatant attempt to ride the coattails of all the new hit shows with a fashionable queer sensibility, "South Park" is gay! Black culture is out and so are the fab four! Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny continue to wreak havoc in their small mountain town when all-new episodes begin airing on Wednesday, October 22 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL. Now, they’ll be doing it with style!

In the first episode, entitled “South Park Is Gay,” (#708) the whole town celebrates the new, hip metrosexual craze1. Everyone is suddenly hot to be gay! Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny are in fierce competition to see who can be the gayest, while Mr. Garrison responds with, “If straight people are gonna steal our culture, then us REAL gays are just gonna have to step it up a notch!”

The tobacco episode ("Butt Out") is where kids accidently burn down school after being caught smoking (still lit cigarette). They blame tobacco industry, Rob Reiner to rescue with his anti-smoking crew (who in turn are evil). I loved this one.

The last scene of the "Raisins" episode was classic, too.

Funniest animated show behind Family Guy.

Family Guy is funny, for sure, but it in no way comes close to reaching South Park's level of humor. Besides, I think Family Guy started to go downhill when they changed Stewie to his whole "gay" persona. It was so much funnier when he was just evil. Not saying that Family Guy isn't funny, but I just don't think it could really compete with South Park.

Matt and Trey hired writers. Consequently, there hasn't been a good South Park episode since the beginning of the last season.
I disagree, I've liked all the episodes so far. Also, Trey is the only head writer.

That episode was crap, except for cartman preparing to fight kyle, cartman crying when kyle punched him, and of course.....SADDAM!

Seriously though, it was cool how they captured him in that episode. And he looked like he did when we caught him in real life. It totally paralleled the recent events, almost like the episode was made AFTER it happened, even though it wasnt.

I can honestly say that I think they've lost it; I was embarrassed for the writers while watching this one. A lame, lame way to start off the new season.Crazy talk. It was brilliant...the great storylines, the brilliant lines ('oh well...I'll have to murder one of these other dogs'), the quality scenes (Cartman's 'invisible' sneaking is up there with the most I've ever laughed at South Park), plus the superb use of manga animation...AND THE SONG. Protect my balls!

I loved it. South Park just keeps getting better and better.

There was no element of surprise. If we had gone the whole show seeing them as their alter-egos, THEN we see that they're just playing.. it would have been funny. It was just one of those things we knew was going to happen.Oh come on...the way the two types of animation segued into each other was part of the hilarity...three times in particular come to mind where this is evident.

1) When they're in their manga mode, and they get into their attack positions, then it switches back to normal mode and Craig is just staring at them...very funny.

2) When Butters becomes Professor Chaos, and is storming down the stairs, breaking everything. Then it reverts back to normal mode and you see Butters jumping around and putting on a stupid voice. Very, VERY funny.

But most of all, 3) Where they're fighting as the warriors in manga mode, and Kenny throws the star...you assume it's part of their play-fighting thing, then it goes back to normal mode and Butters has the star in his eye and is crying...SHIT-YOUR-PANTS HILARIOUS!

Better than Cartman trying out all those retarded faces was the music that accompanied it. "Push it to the limit! Walk along the razor's edge, don't look down, just keep your head..."

I thought this week's wasn't that funny. It wasn't BAD, but the Mel Gibson character actually irritated me to the point where i wanted to turn off the episode, which was the point i suppose. The only funny thing from Mel was at the end when he fell to his knees and began twisting his nipples and when he smeared his crap on the door. The crap-smearing was drop dead hilarious and almost made up for all the annoying junk from him. Besides him though, the episode was good.

I think it's great that South Park is still doing this well, writing-wise, after this many years. When the show first came out i gave it 4 seasons of being funny, but then i predicted a huge downslide in quality until it got cancelled by the 6th season... boy was i wrong. The longer this show runs, the funnier it becomes.

The longer this show runs, the funnier it becomes.I thought that as well, and we were both right in that the comedy of the first couple of series got old pretty quick, which was why IMO most of the second and third series was shit...but then the writing got more intelligent as the novelty effect wore off and they had to explore new ideas, now it's probably the funniest thing on TV. Until Family Guy returns.
