did anyone end up getting this? i got it on PC and put 15 hours or so into it and just picked it up on sale on the ps4 cause i don't know anybody who plays on PC and i got tired of playing with strangers. i know matthee has it, i saw kdestiny has played. would be fun if we could get a whole squad for multiplayer or blackout.

matthew and i, as a duo, have played 58 games of blackout. it took forever for either of us to actually get a single kill. we have yet to win a game. it takes a bit to even find your bearings cause it feels like so much to keep track of. but its a ton of fun

blackout is a whole different beast. i assume you've been playing that a lot? COD was never about long range engagements and blackout is full of them.

the multiplayer with the specialists is a change and theyre quite a bit overpowered in this release according to popular consensus. i played 15 hours of strictly multiplayer on PC and by the end it was getting very tedious getting zapped by the seeker drone or electric pistol or getting one shotted by some random dude jumping into scene with that gravslam. the balancing with them is pretty terrible.

yeah, the tactics involved there are so different. it takes enough time to get used to looting and what you should even be looking all the while keeping an eye on the zone, with a lot times it sneaking up on ya and now you gotta run across the map just to get out of it. then once you get a grip on that you got all these wide open spaces and clustered buildings you gotta keep an eye on. it's a lot to contend with. i watched people play PUBG and fortnite and blackout and had a good idea of the mechanics and shit before ever playing and even then it was confusing as shit

Yeah just been doing solos. I get the concept pretty easily. I think I'm just too hesitant and will settle for a lower level kit than I should be. Also it's taking some time getting used to the controls in terms of aiming and such.

I still don't fully get what's going on with all the equipment in Blackout or in battle royal games in general. I just run around picking anything and everything up and hoping to end up with a decent SMG or AR.

you can set up a custom game and drop into the map by yourself, I think. i know matthew and i did one just to look around and get some time in without having to worry that other people were gonna shoot us from across the map. lets you take your time and try out all the weapons and equipment.
