View Full Version : Is the site being slow or is it my computer?

When I open a thread today it's been taking some time to load the full thread, like I'll scroll to the bottom but it'll only take me mid-way through the thread, then 5 seconds later the rest will load.

Only asking because I don't know if it's the site or if I might have a virus slowing down my computer.

It's the site. It started yesterday I believe. First noticed it after what appears to be a server crash, there was a time I couldn't access the forums at all. Bet that has something to do with it.

I've been having the same thing happen the past day or two, as well. I thought it was my computer 'cuz Facebook was doing it yesterday, too.

Same here. I assume its a Chrome issue.

We were getting timeout errors yesterday on all browsers.

On Friday, the doubled our storage space which is when the site was down. It's probably related, I'll investigate.

Same here. I assume its a Chrome issue.

Pages are still slow to load on both Chrome and Safari since the site was down a while ago.

Next update will be on Wednesday night / Thursday morning. We are getting migrated to a new machine/server.

Nice. It's alternating between perfect and very slow now. There is a noticeable difference in load times from what we have been experiencing.
