FYI - Server Changes

As some of you have noticed, the server has been wonky the last 24 hours. I think we have it solved.

It should be noted the site is no longer compatible with IE8 XP/Vista & very old versions of Android.

We consolidated a bunch of stuff, and are limited to a single IP address which requires I use SNI with SSL which is fairly new (last 5 years or so)...

Let me know if you run into any issues.

Seem to be having lots of log in issues and 'server full' pages, are these a side effect?

Yeah, it's been rocky. The people who work on this site also have full time endeavors. If this was my "day job", I'd find this all unacceptable, but as I haven't had 40++ hours a week to focus on it, there have been some glitches. Sorry. I think we've mostly out of the woods now, I'd expect a lot less downtime. The loads have been properly distributed, so everything seems pretty stable since earlier Thursday morning. It'll take a few more days to know for sure, but I think we'll get through the Rumble with flying colors.

Again, sorry for all the outages, we've done our best to avoid it.. :dunno: Shit happens, though I can it's not gone unnoticed -- and thanks for your patience.

Just got a pop up after writing a post that said rajah.com was asking for my email address.

I cancelled it, no problem, but I've never seen that before. Dunno if that might be server related or whatever, but it was odd and I figured I'd bring it up.

EDIT: Just happened again.
