Has anyone heard or played this?

It is essentially a survival game where you create a character and you spawn on an island with other players (70+ players on each server, and trust me, every server is full) on a map that is inhabited with ancient creatures of the past.

You gather materials, supplies, and use them to create weapons and structures to survive. As you progress you can level up and build enhanced weapons/structures/materials/etc. You can also form tribes with other players to enhance the experience points gained and to protect yourself from other players in the event of attacks or raids. Imagine Turok meets Lost in a survival MMO environment.

You also have the ability to tame dinosaurs and keep them as pets, ride them, use them to assist in harvesting of materials, etc.

My explanation of the game does not do it justice and neither does the Youtube videos. The game is extremely intricate and pretty awesome. It originally came out solely for PC a few months ago, but it came out for pre-release on XBox One about 2 weeks ago and I have been playing it non-stop since. Unfortunately, for PS4 you will have to wait for full release which I think is in a few months or you can get it for PC. You can currently purchase it on the XBox Store.

All of the official servers for XBox One are constantly filled to capacity and you have to always spam join to get in. I am already at level 58 or so, and play on NA-Server 47 and am in a pretty established tribe.

Below are some links about it:

If you do get into it, I advise playing on a single player server in order to get the hang of the game and also read up a lot about it. Then jump into an official server and try to join a friendly tribe who will show you the ropes.

The feuds and drama that is going on between these tribes in each server is better than anything the WWE has written in the last 20 years.

I might pick this up on PS4 when it is released. Who fancies joining my tribe?
