When I was 10 years old, I dreamed about virtual reality video games. Even at that age, I knew it was the future. It appears we have arrived in the future, as PS4 VR is set to debut first quarter of 2016. It looks so bad ass:

As of right now, I own an Xbox One, but if this thing gets good reviews, I won't hesitate at all to buy it.

I remember all the Oculus hype in the early kickstarter days. This has to be pretty epic and I think its only $100. Pretty sure those Oculus developers just got rich AF.

I just read another article estimating it at $300. I could have sworn I saw pre orders a month ago for 99$.

It all comes down to the games and price for me. If they actually produce some compelling content then I'm in.

They say that about everything, but porn won't adopt it unless everyone else adopts it. Like when people were trying to push 3D again a few years back. Porn producers will obviously only bother with this stuff if there are enough people out there with the equipment to watch the VR content, and people will only by the VR headsets if there's enough content out there to justify the purchase.

It doesnt start with porn. I dont think people buy stuff with the intention of consuming porn. Porn is usually pushed to people and devices that were initially bought for other purposes. You normally buy a TV, phone, laptop, etc, for other reasons, and then find ways of using it for porn.

Man I totally missed the news that Facebook bought Oculus. Or I forgot. Anyway this is all pretty cool.

They are releasing something soon as well
