I've been getting into more of these. I really depends on the game they are playing, and their personality. What are you watching if any?

I've been a big fan of Xavier Woods since he was Consequences Creed in TNA. I like his channel

Then I listen to the FunHaus guys, but it is all dependent on what game they are playing

Much is the same case with Gamegrumps. I like the chemistry that Arin and Danny have. As long as they are playing a game that entertains me, then I'll watch it.

I actually really like Woods' channel. He's a fun dude to listen to and most of his guests have been pretty great.

I'm not much of one for watching people play games (whether it's an LP or a twitch channel), but I do watch a lot of Angry Video Game Nerd & Yahtzee video game reviews. They do negative commentary so satisfyingly well.

I generally listen to the FunHaus guys on the audio version of their Dude Soup show. I'm selective on shows depending on what game they're playing. I've enjoyed watching GameGrumps play through Bloodborne, but could care less about their play of Metal Gear on NES or Kirby.

And I really like how Wood's channel is going. That dude keeps busy. Wrestling, youtube channel, and working on his PHD.

I've been following a kid named Kilplix since about... dang. 2008? I like that he actually plays games rather than does skits or has a shtick like Pewdepie. He used to have a TON of viewers, but nowdays he stay pretty low key. Which I like. He's never stopped entertaining me. I just like watching people play games, and he plays games.

Used to be subscribed to Seananners... Gassymexican... and Eatmydiction. They were funny at first, but their videos started to bleed into each other and there was no realness to them. They started to do just skits and scenarios, so I unsubb'd from them.

Really happy Hero! showed us UUDD because THAT is exactly what I like. People playing games and having fun.

If I'm ever feeling nostalgic I like to have a flick through the playlists of World of Longplays where you can watch commentary-less playthroughs of games from tons of current and retro systems and handhelds. I grew up playing with an Atari ST that this channel features, also platforms such as Amstrads, Apples, Game Gear, ZX Spectrum, Amiga, Master System etc etc, right up to last generation consoles.

Here's one that Nintendo clearly ripped off with their obscure commercial flop Super Mario Bros.

And just for fun, I quite like this parody channel - ItsGWC. His reviews are not very helpful but kind of funny sometimes.

I used to really enjoy the Yogscast. It started when I was debating whether to buy the most recent (at the time) Sim City and did a search for Let's Plays. Found a guy named Sips with a running series and got sucked into watching his city grow and progress with every episode. Around the same time I started watching he was alternating a couple different games, one of them being Terraria which I ended up falling in love with and still play to this day because of that series (helps that they just released a big update with lots of new content for free.) From there I got into their bread and butter, their Minecraft series where they do a lot of crossover stuff between other channels under the Yogscast umbrella. There was something relaxing (almost in the same vein as people who watch ASMR videos before bed) about coming home after a long, late shift at the bar to watch some guy build and run a farm in Minecraft to veg out and take my mind off the previous day. At one point I was having trouble keeping up with all the series that held my interest but over time they ended or switched to a new series that didn't quite hold my interest. I still check in from time to time to see if any of them have started something new that seems promising.
