I've played Minecraft all of 3 times and never enjoyed it. I wanna play it now after that press conference.

There was an interesting point brought up on the post-panel that Microsoft didn't talk about CoD at all. I'm really curious to see if there's a reason for that.

Sadly I don't see that happening. This is big for the One though, should really increase their sales with people who didn't want to let go of their 360 games.

Major studios are putting more and more of their eggs in very specific baskets so a lot of things with a sizeable audience don't get made any more because nobody wants to spend $5 million to make $10 million on a turn-based RPG when they could spend $250 million to make $350 million on Call of Duty XLVI.

Same reason that people are funding the spiritual successor to MegaMan and Castlevania. These are properties that many fans have a passion for, but publishers don't have enough confidence in to make. So fans do not have to.

Bethesda had a great show. Fallout 4 got me more excited that I thought I could be. I got the same feeling as I did watching trailers of Fallout 3 for the first time. The new Doom might be alright. I'm glad they're making a Dishonored 2, the first game was overlooked.

MS did a slick show but I don't think anyone will be too bothered. Halo and Gears are so 10 years ago. That Hololens demo was very exaggerated since people have actually tried it.

EA was quite mediocre, I liked Mirror's Edge but there doesn't seem to be anything inspiring about the new one, it looks exactly the same. They're not sure what else to do. Star Wars Battlefront was the most impressive spectacle of the show.

Ubisoft had some good stuff. Pleased there's another South Park game, the first one was surprisingly good. That weird Tom Clancy open world game looked good, the one that wasn't the Division.

Sony had a good show, although it might have been a bit pandering. Uncharted felt like nothing new since the last time we saw it. I'm sure it'll be much better than 3.

Disappointed with the new Tomb Raider, the trailer seemed completely focused on the same old fake fall, fake fall, everything collapsing, fake fall, repeat. TOMBS PLEASE.

Nintendo has a surprising amount of stuff coming. Mario Maker looks great, Starfox looks ropey.

Square Enix, call me in 5 years if you actually get this FF7 thing done. You'll probably make it weird anyway. Everything else looks exactly the same.

Aren't countless games like this? I do remember asking if people had seen a black car a lot come to think of it.

Shenmue/Shenmue II remain two of my favourite games of all time. Loved the Virtua Fighter attacking controls and got completely immersed in the story. It's blatantly going to be a fucking letdown isn't it.

microsoft lost the first-come exclusivity on the COD DLC to sony starting with black ops 3, which is probably why microsoft didnt talk about it.

FFVII is obviously the "main event" of E3, but Mass Effect was kind of the coolest for me. I love the series but have been worried about the prospect of a Mass Effect 4 since they said there would be one. This being set in an entirely different galaxy can only be a good thing.

Mario Maker looks like pure sex.

The Last Guardian is so cool to still be alive. It'll be a great draw when I decide to buy a PS5.
