Hey guys I started off watching WCW and I know that WWE fans will always remind us of how they took control, that they beat WCW in the end! I loved WCW I watched it from very young and what I remember of it I learnt a lot from WCW it showed me that it was always facing big competition in WWE but never gave up, yes it did eventually grow stale, yes I agree things went from bad to worse and I probably should watch the Monday Night Wars documentaries but I just see it as WWE gloating and their right to but I still love WCW, I admit now I am a WWE fan but that will never stop me being a WCW fan. We had some good times! We had some bad times but I don't want to hear about them I want to hear about your favourite moments of WCW!

Goldberg vs Hogan on Nitro, in Atlanta,Georgia.

DDP's rise to the top of the card.

DDP giving the Diamond Cutter to Hall after it looks like he joined the NWO.

Luger showing up at the first Nitro.

Jericho's list of a 1000 holds.

Bret showing up on air in a limo then Sting ziplines into the ring where Hogan is. Hogan takes some shots as we head into War Games.

Goldberg/Hogan at the Dome.

Eddie and Chavo.

I was always a WWF fan but I will admit to channel changing here and there when Nash and Hall first jumped. The one episode of Nitro where I believe the main event was Luger & Sting VS Harlem Heat VS The Steiners for the tag titles and Nash and Hall showed up with baseball bats. I was still young enough to wonder what Razor and Diesel were doing on Nitro but old enough to know something special was going on in WCW in spring/summer of 1996. One of the few times I stayed tuned in to Nitro to see how the show would end.

I think Goldberg beating Hogan was the greatest WCW moment. The energy and emotion in the Georgia Dome was unbelievable that night. I remember literally jumping off the couch and counting the three with the referee. Great commentary from Heenan, Schiavone, and Tenay. "Good night America. Goldberg's the champ." Still gives me chills. If you had told me at that moment that WCW would be out of business less than three years later I never would have believed you.

Idk how others felt but I loved Nitro being 3 hours and it never felt like it was dragging. The pace was perfect during the peak years when they had good storylines and the best WRESTLING on t.v.

I can't recall any particularly 'good' moments that haven't already been said, but I remember my first ever memory of Nitro being 'good' in my eyes, and it was this one; http://411mania.com/wrestling/down-with-the-brown-the-worst-nitro-ever-11-29-99/

It is a pretty easy episode to remember, because it was when Piper came out to referee the cage match at the end, and he was caked in mud.

I didn't realise what a weird show it was at the time, it seems to be hated and touted as the worst show they ever put out. But at the time, having only been exposed to Sunday Night Heat on Channel 4, seeing this appear on the TV was revolutionary to me.

I always loved Chris Jericho's segments when he turned heel. The one in Washington DC (''Conspiracy Victim"), "The Man of 1004 holds" and so on. Speaking of Jericho, how about that time Dean Malenko returned as Ciclope and unmasked/confronted Jericho.

Goldberg beating Raven for the US title was pretty awesome.

Barry Windham turning heel on Lex Luger joining the Horsemen.

Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat.

Savage vs. DDP.

Spring Stampede 1994.

Sting vs. nWo (pre Starrcade 1997).

And so on..

There's actually tons of great JCP/WCW/Nitro moments to be found when you ignore the obvious terrible ones (Shockmaster, Robocop, Chucky, Dave Arquette, Pope Russo..).

I can argue that Goldberg vs Hogan was not a good thing for WCW. It was wasted on a Nitro when they could have gotten crazy buys for a ppv. Yes they filled the Georgia dome but they could have had a rematch after the ppv match or a tag match of some sort to bring the fans in
