Finally, probably, Atlantis will face Ultimo Guerrero with their legendary masks on the line. Last year led to "fraude" chants when the match didn't happen.

Here is the card. The show is expected to be the most profitable in company history.

Some interesting things on that show. I don't know what kind of match Ultimo/Atlantis can possibly be but it'll be cool to finally see it. Cavernario in an apuestas sounds awesome. The Rush/Casas tag should be good as always.

I think price has to be the problem. They just drew 14,000 for the Rush vs Casas hair match and if it were related to last year's show it would be an overall killing of the promotion.

im pretty sick right now so my attention waned, but it seemed good. definitely felt like a big deal, especially the post-match. good show overall.

Rewatched UG/Atlantis, it's a real classic. Considering the work, atmosphere, post-match, importance, I might have to put it as my MOTY so far. Or at least #2 since I just loved Honma/Shibata so much.

What did you think of the tag title match. I was super into it when Rush and Casas were in together not so much with Mascara and Shocker.

I was pretty sick that night so should really also rewatch that and Cavernario/Cometa to get a good idea of how I feel about them, but I liked it a lot but felt it went on several minutes too long and ran out of steam at the end. Rush/Casas stuff was obviously the best stuff in the match, that's like a tautology, but Mascara and Shocker looked good to me.

Watching this show right now; half-way through the Tag title match, and will probably save the main event for tomorrow. This has been an exceptionally good show; the opening was great, the cibernetico was good fun (and from what I've seen the CMLL girls take a great big shit over the AAA girls) Volador getting tossed around by Thunder is always good times, and the hair-vs-hair match was fantastic. Seriously, they have something special with Cavernario.


Rush, however, continues to be the greatest man alive, and I will not hear any arguments otherwise, for they are foolish and untrue. Attention CMLL, here's your 4-step plan for the next Anniversary show.

Step 1.) Give all the titles to Rush and have him beat everybody.
Step 2.) Build up Cavernario while keeping him out of Rush's way.
Step 3.) Have build-up to Cavernario vs. Rush for all titles. And, then, you know, have the match.
Step 4.) Profit.
