View Full Version : SSL Error (On android?)

On my Nexus 7 and my S4 when I try to connect to the forum, it gives me this SSL error and says it can't connect to the "real" forums.

I've had a quick google.. but it just says my date/time is wrong (...tisn't) or you have spyware/malware which would be difficult for me to get on my phone since I don't go on porn (that's what desktop and big TV is for).

Any other suggestions? :panic:

I'm actually having the same issue.

But I do go to porn so it could be that

I get that on Chrome, but my phone came with another browser and I can see the forums fine on that one, so I'd suggest maybe downloading another browser app.

My nexus seemed to self resolve and allow me with no quibbles (great word), went on phone and it was still the same.. so I cleared the cache and it now has the "old" version of the warning, so I can still proceed to the forum. It has https struck through in the URL though.

Mine shit out again pretty quickly. The fixes I got when searching on google seemed more complicated than it's worth.

Hmm.. that's unexpected. I'm getting the same error on my Android using Chrome.

Investigating.

This has been resolved. I had to restart my phone for it to work, however.

Thanks!

...now fix spoiler tags...Can't fix it if I don't know it's broken.

What's up with the spoiler tags?

Test - Seems to work ok?

They don't work in the mobile skin (can't open them up, you can click em.. just does nothing), I had a look into it and it's fairly common but no one seems to have a solution.
