I think i realized why i struggle to get into lucha. I can not get used to six-man tags.

well not only that but there are lucha trios tropes that will look weird as fuck to anyone not used to lucha. like how one team will have all their members pinned/tapped out at the same time, and in moves that probably look significantly weaker than the moves that had been used as part of the fall before hand. honestly though you just gotta keep watching trios, you'll sort of get the "feel" of it and it will make sense to you/not be jarring anymore. it is something of a bridge to gap but anyone should do it because lucha is fucking awesome and seriously underappreciated on the net.

i mean shit, in what other style are there wrestlers who were the best in the world in the late 80s, and who were still the best in the world in the late 2000s. negro casas might be the best in the world right now in 2013 and he was an elite level worker since like 87 or before.

alright opener, fun dive section and ishii getting the win off his suplex was cool. frame rate is pretty annoying.

Defrost

I think the lowered the quality in that last break so the frame rate is better

Actually I want a Casas vs Ishii singles match

I've only come to lucha in recent years, so I have to tell you that I'm infinitely more interested in that match with it being between Volador and La Sombra.
