-HHH will respond to Brock Lesnar's response to HHH's challenge. Brock says that he will only fight HHH at WM29 if Brock gets to pick the stipulations after HHH makes the match official. (This is getting complicated...)

I'm most looking forward to seeing what the undercard for Wrestlemania will look like. Sandow/Rhodes, Team Hell No, Fandango, etc.

I'm wondering if the Fandango bit last week with him complimenting Niomi (?) from the funkadactyls will lead to his opening feud with Tensai and Brodus somehow, although the fact he's a singles wrestler would seem to cast some doubt on it, unless they plan on bringing someone up with him for it :dunno: He was teaming with Perfect Jnr in NxT wasn't he?

Wade vs Miz would be a nice undercard match with Jericho taking on Ziggler, but I get the feeling with the three way IC they could all get bunchd together which would let Flair be at ringside to counter Big E as well, they seem to have almost swept MITB aside for now really with the two belt feuds not needing Zigglers input.

As much as I want to be upset that Rock isn't showing up every week, I can't be, because he's really the only reason ratings and live attendance have been going up at a steady pace. I know he doesn't show up at the live shows, but people tune in to see Rock and gain more interest in paying for anything involving WWE. Fair play on all of the other guys for keeping the fans interested, but Rock is drawing the eyes.

I don't see what the problem is. The new Prime Time players angle was entertaining and part of the build up for Rock Cena since they talked about Fruity Pebbles. They seem to be doing a good job on the Ryback Henry build up by taking him out of the 6 man tag so they have to pick a 3rd wrestler for it. Fandango was funny again. I want to see more of that diva who does the splits. Still better than anything TNA has to offer with that Aces stable that looks like something from 1998 WWF like the DOA.

Mixed bag. The Triple Threat was good, so was Del Rio vs. Cody. The Ricardo injury angle was good and added some much-need fuel to that feud. Other than that, things were on the dull side.

The lack of build to Cena/Rock is a little weird, but I think I actually like it better than last year. I got so tired of the endless talking last year. Every week 20 minutes of them talking at each other and exchanging childish insults. This really is the kind of match that doesn't need a build. It's John Cena vs. The Rock. Rematch from last year, Cena's redemption. That's really all you need.

If I wasn't going I'd be pretty annoyed at the state of this Wrestlemania. As it is, I'm going and I can't wait, but man there have been some odd choices.

For the love of Christ don't put Jericho against Fandango and demote some other match to the pre-show. Jesus.

Jericho has so many options. Ziggler, Barrett, Miz, Cesaro could all be built in a couple of weeks and be awesome.

I'm not a fan of the Ziggler/E vs Hell No match. It should be a good match but those belts need to go on an actual team so they can start building the division again. I would've loved to have seen the PTPs or Rhodes Scholars start to try and turn Kane and Bryan against each other, leading to them winning the belts and splitting Hell No up at the same time.

Fandango is class, but putting him in there with Jericho is such a waste. They could've built to a Cesaro match easily, with the U.S. title being the only title he's never won. Cesaro was being built up well going into the Rumble, it was an easy angle to go with if they hadn't jobbed him out since then. It's not perfect but it's better than facing a newcomer in a comedy segment and would have moved Cesaro on a good bit, whereas Fandango can't by nature go very far with that gimmick.

I gave this show a 6, and I think I'm being kind with that score. It didn't help that I had to watch the replay at 12:30am, REALLY dragged on, largely due to the awful crowd. 3 hours in incredible difficult to stick with at that time, especially when so much of the show in WWE filmjs bullshit, I'm so sick of it!!

As for Pittsburg, I really hope WWE avoids that place for a long time, make them crave the product, or just stay away all together, horrible, HORRIBLE crowd. I'm sure Vince prefers the gate income, but they can raise prices and go to a smaller place that doesn't get RAW programs.

Positives

-- Loved the Punk segment, I like how he's pushign the envelope, just can't see him winning though. EVen though we've long known who the main matches were going to be, which hasn't made me look forward to this mania, Punk and Taker actually feels fresh, and I can't wait for this match!

-- Fandango and Jericho. I like how they're teasing Fandango's debut, he's really growing on me, and he's getting more consistent with his character, speaking wise. He and Jericho had good chemistry on camera, even though I'd rather have Jericho fight someone else. They must have high hopes for Curtis.

-- Sandow on the mic, self explanatory, he's gold!

-- The Crowd, fuck that place, avoid it like the plague WWE

-- The pacing, way too many WWE films commercials, really getting tired of this. Highlighting the WWE stars in their films is like paying homage to extras, just ridiculous. Otunga should stick to being glorified extra anyways, he sucks in the ring.

-- Rushed predictability. Most of us have long known the main mania matches already, but it was easy to see through the Henry/Ryback smackdown ending, it was obvious they would save that for mania. Big Show eventually joining Orton and Sheamus via a Shield thing was obvious too. I dunno, maybe I was too irritated and tired to enjoy anything, but I didn't like how they've set those matches up.

-- No Rock and a repeat of the same promo. Last week was fine, its a great piece, and even though I'm happy to not see Rock and Cena exchange, it's just weird not having the champ there. GI Joe is going to blow chunks anyways. After Rock loses to Cena and gets his revenge on Lesnar at some point, I can't say I'll be disappointed to see him go, his schedule doesn't allow me to give a shit about him in WWE anymore, and I came back for him.

-- Triple H stip. How anticlimactic was this? So when Lesnar beats Triple H, are we going to have a long drawn out retirement sympathy walk to to the back for HHH? He's getting Jeff Jarret-like on us here, I just don't see the crowd giving a shit again. "Triple H" chants are always the worst. Just retire already.

Just watched RAW. Good lord that crowd was so terrible, holy crap. Whether it was being dead for 90% of the show or chanting USA just to be dickheads (it very much seemed to me they were doing it because they knew they weren't supposed to, not because they were rooting for Swagz), they sucked and sucked hard.
But regardless, there was a fair bit I liked about the show: Opening Cena/PTP segment was amusing, Pancake Patterson was kinda funny (reminded me of those couple of times R-Truth did that weird character on SD that went nowhere, Ricky something?), the Punk/Taker segment (Punk saying "Oh shit!" uncensored was probably the highlight of the night), FAAAANDANNNNGGOOO (loved the over-the-top entrance and the more I'm thinking about it, the more I'm thinking a feud with Jericho for Mania's gonna be good), The IC Title triple threat was really good, ADR/Cody was pretty good, and the Trips/Heyman/Brock segment was alright. As for Trips being the heel because...only if Vince was the face against Austin.

How many matches end up going nowhere? Back in the day there was an epidemic of run-ins that would affect the outcome. Now almost every match involves a stupid run-in and we just forget that there's an actual match going on. What's the average no-contest rate on Raw these days?

Didn't notice this myself at the time but trust me, it's not a minor point. It's a smaller piece of the larger puzzle that is what's wrong with WWE and has been for a long time. It's the over produced feeling. It takes away the realism, almost like everything that happens on the show is controlled by one guy.
