I'm posting this here as a ramble and to see if anyone can answer my question.
Basically I have Netflix streaming and use it on my 360. I like it, and think it's worth the price.
But why did they change the formatting for the 360? It used to have categories like Comedy, Drama, Horror, TV, New Releases and so forth.
Now it only has search (the feature sucks, by the way), Instant Queue, and Party.
It makes it counter intuitive to use on the 360, and a real pain in the ass to basically have to search from the website and place it into your queue to watch anything.
Is there a way to change it back, and why did they make this change?

That's just you, buddy.
I have a 360 and stream Netflix and it has all the usual genre categories as well as stuff like "action sci fi" and "gory crime dramas" and more personalized recommendation categories.

The PS3 movie streaming one is gash. They never seem to have decent films.

The PS3 Netflix has changed also. It used to less cluttered and easier to find things. And the recommendations are movies I've already seen. Do I need to rate them for them to go away?

Apparently it didn't download correctly. Got it fixed, thanks for letting me know it was on my end.

Couldn't find anywhere else to post this, and this seems like a Netflix ramble thread. So....
I received a smart tv for christmas for the bedroom. And I now have netflix on it.
I had gone to Vegas the day after christmas for a vacation and when I got back, I finally set up the tv and got the wifi going and set up Netflix. Was excited to see all the WWE PPV's on there and was looking forward to watching some that I missed. That weekend, I got caught up in season 7 of Burn Notice so I could have closure on the series.
A couple nights later, went to watch the WWE PPV's and there gone! Grrrr! The WWE pulled all there shit from netflix! I want to get the WWE Network eventually, but I don't want to give up Netflix, because of all the stuff that's on there. I watched Season1 of Family Guy, a couple of Zombie flicks, The Elm Street doc, the newest Texas Chainsaw movie. blah blah blah. I'm torn, because I don't want to pay for netflix and the network. I'm scared that I would never leave my room if I had both.
On the plus side of Netflix, looking forward to watching the X-Files from the beginning and Agents of Shield. I missed out on American Horror Story Season 2 and I can watch that now too.
Yeah, I'm just rambling on, but it really bugged me that I finally get Netflix, and the WWE pull out.

There weren't any WWE PPVs on Netflix anyway, so i'm not sure what you're upset about. They really only had like 7-8 random WWE documentaries or things anyway.

The Monday after xmas, there was 4 maybe 5 PPV's, Stone Cold Doc, Best of RAW & Smackdown and a few other things. When I went to watch it the following weekend, they were all gone. Then there was an announcement that WWE pulled all their stuff from Netflix. I'm not gonna lose sleep over it, it was just dissapointing that it was all gone. There's a couple of WWE Studios films on there now, but no wrestling.

You're wrong mate, there have never been any WWE PPVs on the US Netflix. There were/are a few UFC PPVs, are you sure you didn't see them?

TLC from 2013 was on it for a period of time, that was literally it. I don't know what the issue is about getting both, it's $10 a month ffs. Barely a meal. Complaining about a handful of PPVs not being on Netflix when there is a WRESTLING Netflix of ONLY wrestling. Amazing.

There was an interesting article about Netflix in the business section of the Irish Independent yesterday with an interview with a couple of their head honcos. They were asked loads of questions about content, price, etc. They were saying that €5 of every €8 subscription went towards payments for rights for content, which was $215m last year. That suggests revenues of about €350m. I assume they have to pay some VAT/sales tax on that but even without that that leave $135m apx profit.... I don't know how they can operate like that.
It is reported that Marco Polo cost $90m to make on its own. House of Cards has an incredible cast and incredible production value and won't be cheap. Arrested Development probably cost a fortune. They're running 50 'Netflix exclusive' shows this year. I just don't see how they make any money.

They have 57 million subscribers. They are making plenty of money.

Word of advice: if you see something on Netflix that you want to watch, then do so as soon as possible. Shows get removed from Netflix on a regular basis.

This was posted on January 9th: - In an effort to boost sales for the WWE Network, virtually all WWE content has been removed from Netflix and iTunes.
Again, I'm not gonna lose sleep over it, I was excited when I saw the PPV's (And yes, they were WWE PPV's) and then when I actually had the time to sit down and watch 1 or 2, they were gone. Then I saw the announcement that was made above. I was just venting my disappointment and couldn't find another place to do so.
As of right now, Falls Count Anywhere program is still there.

There was maybe 1 PPV and like 4-5 of the less entertaining DVDs they've put together. They took off a lot of their documentaries from Netflix anyway. No clue where you saw PPVs, but you were mistaken.

I'm not gonna get my panties in a bunch over this, but there was 2 other people in my room when I set up the tv and netflix. And I specifically typed in WWE in the search and a handful of PPV's popped up as well as the docs and the best of raw smackdown. My nephew, who did not know about the wwe network is the one that got me the smart tv for christmas, and he knew I would be happy that I could watch some old wwe shit on it. Then I told him the following week, that WWE pulled the PPV's that were up due to the WWE NETWORK.
I'm not stupid, I've had netflix before and know how it works.

No one is saying you're stupid. But my grandpa always said "Son. Either it's everyone else in the world that's wrong. Or its just you."
Of course he was also racist...and fat...and bald...and totally old...so take that for what it's worth.

so one guy saw these mysterious wwe ppvs on netflix, that he didn't actually watch, and then they magically disappeared.
well, not really.
but, they did offer documentaries and maybe one ppv on their live streaming service, like hero said. they do offer wwe ppvs on actual dvd format, but that is it.
basically you either seen wrong, can't see well, or are a liar.
I'm not stupid
highly debatable

There were shows called TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs (vol. 1 + 2) which were compilations of the best TLC matches - maybe that's what you saw?
