Some people on this forum don't like Twitter. Many of these same people also don't like WWE Superstar's Twitter comments being posted as news, even though they are posted from outside sources that generally post most of the wrestling related news we are force-fed.

It has been encouraged to start a thread for Twitter related blurbs, and since I am following a few WWE Superstars on Twitter, I thought I would post the thread before someone beats me to it. Also I really wanted to see the Conan O'Brien gimmick as the thread title.

the jericho/miz ones happen to be twinged with humor. not every twitter message has to be some kind of joke. it's a text message to the internet community at large detailing whatever is on your mind at that moment, as long as it can be condensed down into 140 characters.

and like i've already said about the subject, they're posted because a lot of people are generally interested in the mundane details of celebrities they admire or enjoy, as it allows them room to relate. we're not going to not going to be reading anything profound here, and that's not the point.

No, actually you're now over analyzing my intent. Whatever the tweets were going to look like, I would have came in here and mocked anyway. Even had the one liners not been unfunny banter between Jericho and Miz. Why? Because tweeting is rather absurd, and following another persons tweets is even moreso. It just so happens the banter that was going on in here called for that type of mock post.
All that really needed to be done was delete and erase all the silly tweets from the news and notes, and considering the fact they are rather useless, creating a thread for them once spliced and pruned was really rather unnecessary.
However, as it is the right of anybody to read and enjoy them, and the right of any poster to create a thread devoted to whatever he/she desires, I was going to simply say my piece and be done with it.
