The only decent Christmas show we have (Spicks & Specks special) was on last night and was quality. One of the highlights had to be Cal Wilson dressed as a shepherd greeting Adam Hills in German, and he responded in German. Completely oblivious, he asked why, and she just looked at him and said "I'm a German shepherd, Adam."

The Royle Family was absolutely brilliant. Gavin And Stacey is just a bit sad now, this series has had a really depressing tone throughout.

Royle family was good, but, if anything was to be to its' detriment, the repeating scenes went on just a bit too long. Pissed all over last years though. Gavin and Stacey was ok, the New Years one is bloody fantastic though. Catherine Tate was pretty good too. I'm not a fan normally, but some of it made me laugh quite a lot.

Match of the Day - BBC 1, 10.20PM FOOTY - Suddenly it's saved.

Jools Annual Hootenanny 2011 - BBC 2, 11.15pm. I swear this used to be on much earlier. If you like Jools playing jazz over your favourite pop songs - ENJOY.

Absolutely Fabulous - BBC 1, 9.40pm. Depending how the last episode went this could be hit or miss.

Hacks - Channel 4, 10pm. Comedy drama set around the phone hacking scandal.

2nd January:

The Channel 4 Mash Up - Channel 4, 6pm. Celebrating 30 years of Channel 4 we get: Phil Spencer (Location x3) presenting the Million Pound Drop with Davina as the contestant. Alan Carr presenting on Location x3. Countdown presented by 8 out of 10 cats. New series of something called THE BANK JOB (gameshow) and Come Dine With Me; Made in Chelsea special. River Cottage gets done too, but I dunno to what end.
