WELCOME
TO
THE RAJAH ULTIMATE WORLD CUP TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT!
Rules:
The rules of this game are quite unique and I will endeavor to lay them out for you all:
1. I will list a total of 32 All-Time Tag Teams (teams that are classic in nature, i.e. The Midnight Express, teams that have won multiple tag team titles, i.e. Demolition, and Tag Teams that have left an indelible mark on the federation(s) they are/were a part of. i.e. The Rockers) and you, the players, will select one team from the list till there are none left.
2. I will then use a random system to determine the pairings. Eventually all 32 teams will be paired off into 16 matches. Eliminations will occur and eventually the final two teams remaining will duke it out for the World Cup!
3. Eliminations will be decided through a voting process, which makes the tournament an act of double participation (both selecting a team as your pick and then seeing whether your pick survives the voting process). You will be asked to vote on the team you like/liked best. This can be based on a number of factors (overall look of said team, their skill, the way they carried (presented) themselves in the ring (charisma, etc.) and other similiar factors) and the team with the most votes will advance. In the unlikely event of a tie, I will then cast a vote and break the tie.
4. You may NOT vote on your own Tag Team once voting begins. This will ensure the fairest outcome possible. Also, I will not be selecting a team either. This is also to ensure a level playing field.
5. Last but not least, I am promising the winner of this Tournament a very special prize, a REAL honest-to-goodness-flesh-and-blood prize. I am not going to say WHAT that prize is yet, but I will announce what it is as we draw closer to the finale of our game.
