Stuff I drew - Page 2

None of this was done using a tablet. I do have one, but I barely use it as it's a shitty Aldi brand one. I've been using a Wacom Bamboo at work lately and I'm very tempted to pick one up soon.

I usually tend to draw things by hand (like the first sketch) then scan it in and trace it in Illustrator with the pen tool.

Either way they're amazing but I can't imagine making anything close to this good with my mouse.

Actually, I lied. The illustrations from Animalphabet were done with my shitty tablet.

Incredible work Mr. RabidWookie. Glad to see such genuine talent put to good use. I particularly adore the pictures from the children's alphabet book.

Do you have a copy of the book in electronic form? I would love to see the rest of the work.

Yeah, I'll pop some more pages on here a bit later on. I'm away for a week on vacation but I'll show some more when I get back. I'm always a bit reluctant to show entire works online if I'm trying to make money off them though so I probably won't put the whole thing here.

The finished pages are actually a little different than the above ones too. Nothing major though, I've just reworked the text and removed the larger letters from the corner of the image.

One of the monsters from my next book. The book probably won't be done in the same style as this, but my tablet is stuffed at the moment so I'm working out the designs this way for now.

EDIT: nevermind I see it now. Looks like something that would be in a more modern version of Aaahh!!! Real Monsters. Nice work.

Thanks man, I've been looking at some Real Monsters pics as reference lately, so that seems to be rubbing off.
